They are using the mention of Argentina to avoid having to defend the real issue here: that Trump is purposefully withholding SNAP funds because he believes it will punish Democrats and force them to surrender on the shutdown.

Agreed.  The only reason I brought up Argentina because they've said, we don't have the money and we can't fund anything during a shutdown.  Both lies.

My new 3 part solution to ending the shutdown: 

1. The Nobel committee announces immediately that Trump will be the recipient of next year’s peace prize; it’s already been decided, and that it was a unanimous decision,  first time ever. 
 

2. The Washington Commanders announce that the new stadium will be named Trump stadium. 
 

3. The SNAP program will be renamed the “Trump SNAP Program”. 
 

If we can get these all done the shutdown will be over in a matter of minutes.

According to @jerryskids this is only because the MSM, under the control of the DNC, tells the public what to think. That’s one explanation I suppose. Another might be that the public is watching what is happening and making up their own minds based on what they’re seeing and experiencing.

Trump and the Mar-a-lago crowd fly private. They don’t want you, MAGA rally goers included, but really just anyone besides them, to fly safely and orderly. That’s for them. In their opinion, they pay for you to fly safely. And they don’t want to do that for you anymore.

Well, from his first term as POTUS, they knew (or should have known) that Trump is lacking the emphathy gene and is completey indifferent to human suffering - so, in a sense, that is what they voted for, although they certainly never expected the consequences to directly impact them. 

No they don't deserve to suffer but what is playing out was foreseeable IMO.

I didn't say that, dummy.  In fact, I specifically laid out how I would do it.  But you think finding a Leftie boondoggle to pay for it is a strawman, because you want to focus on muh Argentina!  It's the only alternative to you, but it's not a false dichotomy.
