Three hours to get through security. Reducing flights by 10 percent Great job, Trump. Stocking up now on popcorn for the Midterms.

Yes that sure sounds like a winning strategy, from my NYT email update: Trump Officials to Cut Air Traffic in 40 Major Markets if Shutdown Continues The plan, which officials said was intended to help air traffic controllers, would force the cancellation of thousands of flights as the administration seeks to pressure Democrats to end the shutdown. Once the election is over they won't need to hold this over our heads any more. I mean, we all know this is just a political ploy. A disgusting one but one nevertheless. Wait, I was told the public knows the shutdown is the Democrats’ fault? That certainly shouldn’t have helped them in any elections if so

This is a losing game for Republicans. 3/4 of americans are dumb as rocks. But the subsidies being extended has always been inevitable. I stated on here a long time ago the inevitable compromise will be the subsidies get renewed, nothing from the OBB gets reversed and we move on. These subsidies are one of the worst policy decisions ever, but as always, once we give out money for something, we dont like to stop, no matter how damaging it is to the long term market. FrancieFootball 157 Posted 14 hours ago Quote A shutdown falls on the president's lack of leadership. He can't even control his own party and to get people together in a room. A shutdown means the president is weak. - Donald Trump, 2013.

A rare moment of agreement with Mr. Utah. Though I would argue our insistence to continually bail out huge corporations, farmers, banks, and billionaires are far more egregious wastes of money. Grace Under Pressure 164 Posted 7 hours ago “Extending the enhanced premium tax credits would add about $23 billion to the federal deficit in 2026, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).” Trump wants to give $40 billion to the Argentina dictator who kisses his ass. But we don’t have $23 billion to help cover 10 million Americans with health insurance? And we’re shutting down the economy over it? GTFO with that BS. Trump could open the government in 24 hours if he agrees to extend the subsidies, which a MAGA guy says is the inevitable outcome anyway. So explain how this isn’t Trump’s fault? Any American with two brain cells who isn’t in a cult knows this.
SaintsInDome2006 647 Posted 4 hours ago Why do they think this is good politics? - In a crisis politically don’t attach yourself to it. This thing where Trump, Johnson & Vance go live to own this disaster & make threats is just bad, bad politics. It’s like the Trump Covid pressers all over again.
