That's very sad, and pathetic that people would say stuff like that to someone.

Also, I would never say that transing is supposed to prevent suicide.  The psychiatric community used to be better at both (1) identifying people who thought they were trans, but weren't, and (2) addressing the underlying mental issue comorbidities that people who associate with trans experience.  These days, it's enough to say you think you're trans, and people like Real Tim think the only reason trans people have depression is because we heteros are mean to them.

That's actually a great point.  Perhaps a passive aggressive way of saying he (uncle) wasn't really bought into his nephew becoming his niece, but he said the nice words because he loved him/her?

Terrible thing for anyone to get to the point where they think suicide is the answer. The problem you are up against with this post is that the Trans community was so recently overjoyed with the death of Charlie Kirk & is now looking for sympathy. WE LERNED IT FROM YOU DAD!! or is it mom????

Yes there is.  Which isn't to say I don't feel bad for this person but they chose to end their life.  They weren't murdered.  They also weren't a public figure.  I do hope they found their peace.
