The Olympics are going to ban trannies in ALL women's sports.  Apparently they looked in to the science and realized that biological men ALWAYS have an advantage over biological females.   Once the Olympics does it I would expect a snowball effect.  Hopefully this will restore sanity to women's sports.   It's ok.  You all can tell us we were right all along.

My only thoughts on this topic is I’m personally glad to not have to deal with this - thinking I was born a woman or vice versa.

This was the only thing I recall  the woman boxer who I remember being questioned. 

I tried to just read about it and lost interest. The Reddit thread that comes up is way too long. I think she was a woman but they couldn’t tell or didn’t believe her records.

How Democrats allowed themselves to have this issue attached to them is beyond me. People should be allowed to do whatever they want to themselves, the issue gets complex when you start absorbing it into these topics like sports or what you should qualify for after a sex change. I support people being treated fairly and not discriminated against. I think vast majority of people fall into that category.

It’s a sports (league, governing body) issue & a local issue. It’s akin to PEDs. There are legitimately to me 120 issues more important than this. But it’s a top 5 issue for maga. Crazy thing is the most prominent trans person in politics is Bruce Jenner, a maga & Fox fixture. When it came time to make a choice for the presidential advisors on fitness, Trump skipped over Jenner (legitimately a top 5 all time American athlete) entirely but included Lawrence Taylor - a convicted sex offender & narcotics & PED user - and even invited him to the White House. Just part of the general craziness around the whole maga universe.

Respectfully disagree. I believe it's a huge issue. As a nation, it appears we're slowly beginning to realize it's OK to say that something is wrong, even if a certain percentage of Americans are delusional enough to think it's right.

It’s completely a fringe issue. If you turn on the MSNBC opinion shows, or progressive talk radio, or any liberal or progressive website, it’s a topic that is NEVER discussed. It’s only on conservative sites than anybody cares at all about this. 
 

And while the trans issue in general was big for Republicans last year that’s already over. The GOP candidate in Virginia tried to make it a big issue and she got absolutely nowhere. People care about affordability and the crap that ICE is pulling. They don’t care about this anymore.

My take on this was I don’t believe this to be a major issue that voters focus on. I don’t think I ever see this show up on polls of issues that voters care about. Do you? Maybe I’m mistaken there.

The larger issues is attempting to protect people from discrimination. It then seeps into things like sports. 

My understanding of Biden’s orders on this was that he was looking to mitigate discrimination but also allowed schools to set limits necessary to have fairness and safety.

This is a complicated topic that if it gets boiled down to simply that a man wants to play in women’s sports…well that is no for me.
