How does this place still exist?

I was just looking and I have been here for almost 25 years. I know there are some of you that were here before me. I came over in the great mass huddle migration. This place has somehow lasted longer than Blockbuster, Myspace, The sega dreamcast. The .com bubble, the rise of social media and multiple recessions. How is this place still here and running? With people that actually participate daily?  It just seems so out of place in 2025.

 It’s not out of place. We’re all getting older and this is my comfort zone. My tree house in a way. Can’t speak for others, but I’m into this till the day I DIE.We rule. I love how Football Gheys social thread was turned off and we got the hand me downs.

 When I was in detox for eleven days, I couldn’t wait to see what I missed. Definitely helped me get through it knowing I’d be back to my dogs and my Lady, and my family here.

the main bored is a sad shell of what it used to be. it was the reason I joined. discussion and debate used to be great with people who knew football. lots of people and lots of differing opinions and ff theory. It probably died at least a decade ago as it became nothing more than some kids playing characters like weepaws.

Same as it relates to fantasy football, but the Geek Club quickly became more interesting. There were 20+ accounts, probably more, with high post counts that were genuinely entertaining. None of them were politics related.
