Well, this is speculation about the impact to Canada, and the presumption is that we would buy it from Venezuela.  But yes, cheaper oil and leverage certainly could be a factor.

Also, Venezuela and Iran work together on weapons and training.  This could be a shot at Iran.  From 4 days ago:
