Time and aging

Thought crossed my mind the other day that maybe our regular lifespan isn’t based entirely on our construct of time but maybe more of a function of gravitational forces. In other words a slow degrading of our bodies over time due to the pull. I wonder if in deep space on a ship if a baby were born and was able to live majority of its life free from gravitational pulls if lifespans could be substantially longer? Curious on u alls thoughts

Time is relative. It would most likely feel the same amount of time.

Human bodies need gravity for physiological reasons like bone density. But I think you’re on to something from a gravity and time perspective. If you approached closely to a black hole, your time would flow normally, but to an observer on Earth, you would just stop in time for what seems like forever. I don’t know how long a human would actually live under those circumstances, probably the same number of years, but who knows? If you go, you can find out, but you would never be able to tell anyone after crossing the event horizon.

Gravity is essential to the human body and all animals. It's the perfect amount of gravity for us. I don't think gravity has anything at all to do with aging.

Time feels like it goes by faster as we age because things become more routine. The mind is always looking to optimize, so the more routine our lives are, the faster time seems to go. It compresses repetitive events.

Consciously adding novelty helps to slow time a bit for our awareness.

Age could be looked upon has a reason why time seems to be going by faster, but, the Word says near the end of days, time will be spend up, I know that’s the real reason, even younger people today talk about how much faster years seem to be coming and going.   Indeed

This has been shown by explorers in caves for extended periods of time, where their internal body clocks elongate periods of wakefulness.
