I like Pats ML.

Both dog MLs is probably the move. But I have more faith in the Pats vs a young QB than Goff in the Dome.

Dude has made 26 million in his career. No chump change, but in comparison to what other receives make. (Victor Cruz made more than him)

Could be the most underpaid good player of all time.

Where would the pats be without him?

Let the man make some money on the side.

Im all for him making money where he can, but the Patriots are making it hard to root for them.

I cane in to the playoffs where I wouldnt mind seeing the pats win again. I enjoy seeing historic greatness.

However, between Brady singing the sad song of how can we be here, nobody thinks we can win a game, etc and Edelman with his defiant underdog crap...

Lets take it down a notch guys. Youre 3 point dogs on the road to an incredible offense. You were favored in your first playoff game. Nobody is writing you off.

Very replaceable part. See New England Patriots, 2017. They did pretty good without his services.

I just dont like close spreads this time of the year. ML one way or the other on each game. -3s smell juice for the bookie. No thanks. Give me the ML.

Only juice if you lose. If I really like a dog +3 is a great number.

I got the Chiefs -3 at even money and I took under 56.5 in the Saints/Rams

I was monitoring the line for the Pats/Chiefs over the week.

When I saw it at -3 EV, I jumped on it thinking the world would be all over the Chiefs, but then the line went to -2.5 at -140, -130, -120 before it shot back over to the Chiefs -3 at -125.

So it looks like the vey early money (pros?) went in on the Patriots, and then the late money seems to be going in on the chiefs. I noticed after a lot of the big media guys picked the chiefs is when the line swung back in their favor, so the Chiefs looks like the public money.

He's definitely not the most underpaid player of all time. He would be far, far less productive on any other team in the league. see Deion Branch.

The Patriots are death by 1000 cuts. That's why Edelman can rack up catches running 5 yard jerk routes. People will say, "If it's so easy, why doesn't everyone do it?" Here's why - other teams don't have Belichick, so they can't be disciplined enough to not kill themselves with penalties or running the wrong route or making a bad read or make an errant throw or give up a sack or lose 6 yards on a missed blocking assignment in the run game - basically execute. Other teams need chunk yardage because they aren't disciplined enough to sustain 10 play drives on a regular basis.

Could be a foggy memory, but a while back I read picking straight winners in the NFL playoffs has a real nice ATS number. Points more often than not do not matter. Back when I was regularly gambling on the NFL, I always lived by the idea of MLs in the playoffs, especially the deeper you got with closer spreads.

Lets take a look at this year.

WC Round

Indy was a dog and won outright

Chargers a dog won outright

Eagles a dog won outright

Seattle did get within 2 to cover the 2.5 lines, but didn't win outright.

Divisional

Chiefs blew the doors off

Pats blew the doors off

Rams closed at -7, they won by 8

Philly did cover with points and didn't win.

Picking straight winners no matter the line is 6-2 ATS so far this year.

If I like the Rams at +3 Even up. I would like them more at ML +150 or whatever it is.

I have the Chiefs -3 and the Saints -3. Home field is a hard thing to overcome, especially this late in the playoffs. The crowds are gonna be amped up.

For prop bets, took:

Brady over 24.5 completions. He likes to throw the shirt pass and dump off to RBs.

James White over 5.5 catches. See previous.

Saints over 1.5 sacks. Goff holds the ball too long and takes bad sacks.

Brees over 24.5 completions. I just have a feeling about this one.

Good luck everyone.

I'll bet that Andy Reid screws up the clock management.

He will screw it up somehow. He will get the bright idea that Mahomes needs to be limited to limit mistakes. Use Hill as a decoy or some other BS.
