There is a difference between constant berating and verbally abusing children (or anyone) and parenting or coaching which involves raising your voice aka shouting occasionally. Verbal abuse is a thing, it’s mentally breaking down a person when done constantly and over time. The way that article reads doesn’t differentiate the two enough for me.

Compared to pure gasoline ethanol is more corrosive, it is less energy dense, it makes gasoline absorb water easier, it drives up the price of food because we are now introducing more demand against the food supply and it also drives up the price of gasoline because a gallon of ethanol costs more than a gallon of refined gasoline. /rant
