Well, if the former HHS hadn’t endorsed genital mutilation for minors, you wouldn’t be hearing a peep. People should really wake up to who holds the actual trans obsession.

Buffett the person has made the vast majority of his wealth by investing, buy and hold. He showed again he’s the best moving money in late 2024 and early 2025. Politically speaking it is definitely shrewd to take advantage of the fact that many manufacturing jobs have left. Politicians have been talking about this for decades. It’s reality that these jobs aren’t coming back, people are not going to be working on assembly lines like they did in the 70’s. The border and trans in sports are easy pickings. The Dems have left themselves totally vulnerable there, they have no one to blame but themselves. Carnival barker Don is shrewd enough to lean into that. If he keeps up the tariff war - he won’t it will be done by late summer - but say he does, these issues are all we will hear about because the economy will be hosed.

Trump's health agency urges therapy for transgender youth, not broader gender-affirming health care
TheNewGirl replied to kilroy69's topic in The Geek Club
This isn't true. Suicide rate after transitioning isn't "directly" related to their lack of acceptance. It's related to them realizing that surgeries didn't fix what was wrong, they realize that they are now sterile and want to de-trans, OR they have such intense pain from their surgeries (this happens FREQUENTLY to male to female trans). They also have a higher incidence of depression and PTSD. Which contributes to their suicide rates. They are told that medications, sterility, and surgery will "make them feel better" and many find that this isn't the case. You cannot say that lack of acceptance is THE reason. They need mental help support and medication for the rest of their lives. Transitioning is the "cure" they look to for gender dysphoria (another subject that links have been posted about ad nauseam). Here's another: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11063965/ So, let's keep pushing medication, surgeries and other "treatments" on kids so they don't kill themselves....only to have them do it anyways because their new vagina causes them intense pain. Adding: There is ongoing controversy surrounding the benefits of gender-affirmation surgery on mental health [10-20]. This controversy reflects diverse perspectives within the medical and research communities, emphasizing the need for a more comprehensive understanding of the psychological outcomes of gender-affirming procedures. Despite the increasing acceptance of transgender individuals, questions persist about the psychological outcomes of gender-affirming procedures. Responses to the discussion surrounding the benefits of gender-affirmation surgery have been diverse, as evidenced by studies conducted by Branstrom and colleagues [11], Almazan et al. [13], and others [10,14-20]. -

The reason you think they’re wrong is because you’re grossed out by trans people. That’s it, that’s the whole of your “science”: you’re grossed out by them and you’re afraid of them. Why not admit it? -

I suspect Donald will lean hard into this, trans in sports, and the border. He can’t talk about the number one issue for people, the economy, because he’s focked it all up. If things don’t turn around by midterms (I hope they do) these are all we will hear about 24/7. -

Trump's health agency urges therapy for transgender youth, not broader gender-affirming health care 20 years from now we will look back at this phase and wonder why it took so long for people to step up and question what was going on. I have said it for years that it is an emperor has no clothing situation. It just took people to finally speak up and say this is bullshittt for everyone else to wake up to it also. This has been an epidemic of kids being misdiagnosed as trans when it should be acknowledge that it is a mental illness and that treatment like therapy is going to help them more than cutting off their junk and calling themselves sarah. -

Depending on where you work, you can still get fired for being gay or transgender. Under U.S. law, religious organizations are basically exempt from protections baked into the Civil Rights Act. Sometimes called the “ministerial exception,” it bars ministers from suing for discrimination. According to Evansville attorney Erin Borcherding Bauer, with Barber & Bauer LLP, Monday’s decision won’t do anything to overturn that. Gorsuch’s opinion made that clear, she said. My statement was more of a general point of view on why the reactions to trans people are what they are sometimes, and biological reactions to "the enemy." These are literally our lizard brain characteristics that won't go away despite hormones or whatever. Trans women don't suddenly lose aggression because they are now "female." It's still there. If you're in front of me wearing a dress and makeup, and then suddenly you Alpha Male it up because you're pissed, you're going to spread the illusion that trans people (namely trans women) are violent when it's suits them. It's a biological trait to incite fear in the others around you. Lions growl deeper. Monkeys and apes scream louder and show their teeth. Human males stand a little taller, puff out their chests a little, deepen their voice. I've seen other videos of where trans women do this when they feel they are being threatened. -
80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals

Nailed it! Libs are calling it Transphobia so that they can make it a "Republican's are evil" agenda when it's purely a women's rights / child welfare issue. They can't allow that to be the issue because then they can't make the trans community a victimhood and capitalize on it. -

I view trans as something I don't really care about as long as the person deciding to be trans is not impacting anyone else. If my neighbor is a cross dresser and likes to put on womens clothes and go out on friday night, cool. Good for him. If my neighbor decides he is trans and wans to get breast implants, cut off his junk, start taking hormones, etc... I really don't care. I could pretty much say the same thing about any hobby someone has.... Is trans a mental illness? ... are people who like to have sex with people dressed as furry animals mentally ill? Or is it just a weird fetish? I don't know and I really don't care. the problem with trans is that a group of people (mainly liberals) have decided to make it everyone elses problem. They always need a new group to be marginalized and scream for ________ rights, and trans became one of them. I dont hear anyone yelling about cross dressers rights or furries rights. And it obviously goes hand in hand with men in womens sports. So when you have Brendan deciding he is now Brenda and deserves to play on the female collegiate golf team, now you're bothering other people and pushing your agenda onto others. Now we have to bring science and biology into the equation when it could have just been Brandan's personal hobby to be a woman. So yeah, it's about the trans adults as well.... since those are the ones trying to play sports or the ones going around baiting restaurant employees into calling them the wrong pronoun while filming their fake outrage, etc. -

The Real timschochet replied to avoiding injuries's topic in The Geek Club
Unfortunately I can’t admit I’m wrong about this issue because I don’t think I am. I believe that trans people should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect. I think teenagers should be able to make medical decisions in consultation with their parents and doctors without government interference or restriction, unless public health issues are involved, and in the cases of gender therapy or surgery they are not. I think gender dysphoria is a mental disorder that can lead, if untreated, to suicide; the only treatment to gender dysphoria is therapy and ultimately a sex change operation. I do not believe that a teenager can be talked into gender dysphoria. I do not believe that a straight teenager can be talked into trans or gay. Finally I don’t believe that trans athletes should play in girls sports but it’s a really minor issue to me. These things I believe based on what I read and understand. If public opinion is 80-20 going the other way I can’t help that. It is what it is. -

No to the economy and war but trans issues are massively motivating. Reasonable people can disagree about climate/energy policy or foreign policy issues like Ukraine or such, I could see voting one way or the other on candidates over such things. But trans is a killer issuer with a glaring red line. People who support it are morally bankrupt and I will never vote for a trans-advocate for any position anywhere ever.
