    I just find this topic entertaining. Instead of Democrats saying they were wrong on this topic (which would be a net win for them), they keep minimizing it and laughing when it's brought up. The fact is, this is a bigger women's rights issue than abortion is. This affects EVERY woman, everywhere. Its not only about athletes, but in everyday life. Abortion only affects a very small portion of women. If they abandon the trans movement, they lose no one. There's no one on the right who's picking up that banner, so the trans community's only recourse is to stay in the LGBT conglomerate and pretend to be marginalized just like the L's, G's, and B's. The Democrats win because they can still pretend to care about all women's rights.

    I'm amazed at how you Lefties are unable to differentiate between insults and dehumanizing labels. Calling someone a tard or an idiot is an insult, generally (as in this case) based on a specific action and situation. Labeling Trump Clownzo or now Taco, or labeling all Trump supporters MAGAtards, is an attempt to dehumanize. It's a subtle difference in language which I wouldn't expect you to understand. HTH. Also as I look, there is one other "trans" thread on the first page, and that is talking about Pride Month. That's a little different topic than this one, and hardly an example of "trans threads daily."

    If you have to ask this question then IMO you’re part of the problem. But to answer you: I would prefer a more woke society in which most people are both tolerant and accepting of gays and trans and regarded these people as normal, worthy of dignity and respect, and consideration. We’re far removed from that and to me this is depressing.

    This seems disingenuous. First, this is the obvious result of the anti-trans furor that is 100% a MAGA-made wedge issue. Nobody GAF until a convenient "other" was needed to rile people up, and transexuals fit that need perfectly. Gotta maintain a hot culture war for MAGA to be successful. Second, re: the bolded statement being patently absurd: this admin had done NOTHING BUT trash norms just to protect the feelings, ego, and wealth of one single person: Donald Trump. To say what you did, then turn the issue back on anyone other than DJT, is just an example of rank, unthinking partisanship.

    That would depend on the relevant state and local laws and policies of the restaurant as long as said policy did not contradict the laws. Doing a quick search it looks like Minnesota law allows trans individuals to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with, so my answer to your question would be no.

    One of the saddest things about the trans movement is that fugly women, who already had it hard enough before, no longer get the benefit of the doubt. In this case, dressing like that, she's not putting much effort into avoiding confusion.

    We spend less time in the hospitals, less time with nurses and doctors and yet we pay twice as much as other countries, and we have the worst outcomes!!! Make it make sense! Trans???? How many people are trans??? Do you not realize that there is some power that is pushing the narrative that there are trans people everywhere waiting for sex change operations? I don't have not one single trans friend or family member. I don't even have a gay friend or family member! It's completely blown up by the media. It's like your living in some alt world. Look at your friends and family. They need regular healthcare. Meanwhile, you're voting for the rights of corporations just because they are selling you lies that around every corner some trans-person is trying to get a sex change operation. Ridiculous.

    Ironically this is apparently next door to the school system with the trans bathroom rape from a few years ago. So, it’s being reported that staff at a high school arranged and payed for abortions for minors without contacting parents. This sh!t is why custodial relationships between school employees and students must be completely transparent.     I'm not sure I agree with your assessment: "And it's not just trannies; once you open the door to trannies in women's spaces, you open the door for every pervert out there. Trannies of all variations can use the men's room and leave the women alone. Problem solved." Grammatically, I don't believe "every pervert" necessarily applies to trans folks. It's more what I said -- every abuser regardless of orientation, some of whom may be trans, most (most likely) aren't really trans but using this opportunity to do bad things, because there are a lot more of those types. Had he said "every other pervert", I would agree he's lumping all trans into "pervert." That all being said, I understand the spirit of your post. As I said earlier, people on "my side" tend to say a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl, or that trans doesn't exist, and IMO whether or not they are true, they immediately shut down meaningful dialog.

    I don't think they're going to spend any time on the trans agenda because they know that virtue signaling to that small population is a net loser. For every Tim and Squistion they keep (they were never losing them in the first place), they'll lose at least that many swing voters. So, there's no point in hammering that topic. What they will do instead is just pander to the "LGBTQ" community as a whole. I honestly am not quite sure what their plan will be. Anyone who votes Democrat, they've already shown that they're not intelligent people, and they'll continue to vote Democrat. I don't know what topic they can win on, to get the swing vote. Every stance they have is a loser. The economy will be doing very well by then, the trans agenda is a loser, the abortion angle isn't a winner, and they're on the wrong side of deportations. The only thing I can think of is just an anti-Trump campaign, and that's not a winner either. When it comes to mid-terms, the Democrats will still win theirs, the Republican's will still win theirs, and the areas that could go either way, the Democrats are on the losing side of every argument. We know that because Trump won those areas in November. I think the Democrats' best hope is that they get another miracle like they did in 2020 with COVID. They shouldn't spend much money on the mid-terms, take their lumps and hope something goes wrong for Republican's in the 2028 election.

    Trans have zero to do with being gay. The gays are actual men and women who just like their own sex. Trans are men who want to be women and women who want to be men. Totally different. Not sure why they lump them together. The gays deserve better.

    If I were a MAGA and needed a tranny news fix, I'd have to go to Fox, Newsmax, Breitbart, far-right podcasts, etc., to get it, because elsewhere I just see regular news coverage, with any trans news restricted to court rulings. Where do you go to get your tranny fix?

    That's Matt Walsh from The Daily Wire. He made "What is a Woman?", a documentary about the trans movement and its difficulty answering the title question. So it literally is his job to discuss such things. HTH
