    HHS

Well, if the former HHS hadn’t endorsed genital mutilation for minors, you wouldn’t be hearing a peep. People should really wake up to who holds the actual trans obsession.
  2. This isn't true. Suicide rate after transitioning isn't "directly" related to their lack of acceptance. It's related to them realizing that surgeries didn't fix what was wrong, they realize that they are now sterile and want to de-trans, OR they have such intense pain from their surgeries (this happens FREQUENTLY to male to female trans). They also have a higher incidence of depression and PTSD. Which contributes to their suicide rates. They are told that medications, sterility, and surgery will "make them feel better" and many find that this isn't the case. You cannot say that lack of acceptance is THE reason. They need mental help support and medication for the rest of their lives. Transitioning is the "cure" they look to for gender dysphoria (another subject that links have been posted about ad nauseam). Here's another: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11063965/ So, let's keep pushing medication, surgeries and other "treatments" on kids so they don't kill themselves....only to have them do it anyways because their new vagina causes them intense pain. Adding: There is ongoing controversy surrounding the benefits of gender-affirmation surgery on mental health [10-20]. This controversy reflects diverse perspectives within the medical and research communities, emphasizing the need for a more comprehensive understanding of the psychological outcomes of gender-affirming procedures. Despite the increasing acceptance of transgender individuals, questions persist about the psychological outcomes of gender-affirming procedures. Responses to the discussion surrounding the benefits of gender-affirmation surgery have been diverse, as evidenced by studies conducted by Branstrom and colleagues [11], Almazan et al. [13], and others [10,14-20].

    Warren Buffett weighs in

Buffett the person has made the vast majority of his wealth by investing, buy and hold. He showed again he’s the best moving money in late 2024 and early 2025. Politically speaking it is definitely shrewd to take advantage of the fact that many manufacturing jobs have left. Politicians have been talking about this for decades. It’s reality that these jobs aren’t coming back, people are not going to be working on assembly lines like they did in the 70’s. The border and trans in sports are easy pickings. The Dems have left themselves totally vulnerable there, they have no one to blame but themselves. Carnival barker Don is shrewd enough to lean into that. If he keeps up the tariff war - he won’t it will be done by late summer - but say he does, these issues are all we will hear about because the economy will be hosed.
  4. I hear this stuff all the time. Some base group is abandoning the GOP. Then 6 months before the election some cultural issue like gay marriage, trans in sports, etc is ginned up and they all vote red.
  5. All liberals a freaking sick. A school board meeting in California featured emotional debate over transgender athletes being allowed to share locker rooms with high-school girls. One girl who cried during a speech was told to "wrap it up" by the board president. During the Lucia Mar Unified School District (LMUSD) board meeting on Wednesday, a high-school junior girls' track athlete at Arroyo Grande High School named Celeste Diest took the podium to recount her experience of having to change in front of a biologically male trans athlete before practice, while that athlete allegedly watched her undress. "I went into the women's locker room to change for track practice where I saw, at the end of my row, a biological male watching not only myself, but the other young women undress. This experience was beyond traumatizing," Diest said, as she began to choke up and cry. "Adults like yourself make me and my peers feel like our own comfort was invalid, even though our privacy was and still is completely violated." Diest then fought through her tears to argue that the trans athlete's XY chromosomes define the person as a male, adding, "That is basic biology." But Diest was then interrupted by LMUSD board president Colleen Martin. "Okay, please wrap it up," Martin said, gesturing to Diest to finish her point. The teen then sniffled and continued speaking. "I just want to ask ‘what about us?’ We can not sit around and allow our rights to be given up to cater to an individual that is a man, who watches women undress and is stripping away female opportunity that once was fought for us. Sadly we have to try and regain our rights back. I hope you put effort into the restoration of our school safety." Diest then walked away from the podium to a roaring applause from the audience before Martin tried to silence the cheers Martin even began slamming her gavel down to try and temper the growing applause, but the cheers only got louder after that. "No!" Martin yelled when the cheers got louder. Then, Martin just sat there silently as the applause continued for several more seconds, before it finally tempered, and the next speaker gave another speech opposing trans inclusion. Prior to Diest's speech, one of the other speakers, a woman named Shannon Kessler, who was scheduled to go after the teen, asked Martin whether she could give her speaking time to Diest. But Martin denied that request. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/california-girl-cries-recounting-trans-athlete-experience-school-board-president-says-wrap-up

  7. Debunked by who? Not by anyone respectable. Here is UCLA: https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/ga-trans-suicide-press-release/ The only ones who believe as you do are anti-trans extremists.
  8. Trump's health agency urges therapy for transgender youth, not broader gender-affirming health care 20 years from now we will look back at this phase and wonder why it took so long for people to step up and question what was going on. I have said it for years that it is an emperor has no clothing situation. It just took people to finally speak up and say this is bullshittt for everyone else to wake up to it also. This has been an epidemic of kids being misdiagnosed as trans when it should be acknowledge that it is a mental illness and that treatment like therapy is going to help them more than cutting off their junk and calling themselves sarah.

  10. The reason you think they’re wrong is because you’re grossed out by trans people. That’s it, that’s the whole of your “science”: you’re grossed out by them and you’re afraid of them. Why not admit it?

80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals

I view trans as something I don't really care about as long as the person deciding to be trans is not impacting anyone else. If my neighbor is a cross dresser and likes to put on womens clothes and go out on friday night, cool. Good for him. If my neighbor decides he is trans and wans to get breast implants, cut off his junk, start taking hormones, etc... I really don't care. I could pretty much say the same thing about any hobby someone has.... Is trans a mental illness? ... are people who like to have sex with people dressed as furry animals mentally ill? Or is it just a weird fetish? I don't know and I really don't care. the problem with trans is that a group of people (mainly liberals) have decided to make it everyone elses problem. They always need a new group to be marginalized and scream for ________ rights, and trans became one of them. I dont hear anyone yelling about cross dressers rights or furries rights. And it obviously goes hand in hand with men in womens sports. So when you have Brendan deciding he is now Brenda and deserves to play on the female collegiate golf team, now you're bothering other people and pushing your agenda onto others. Now we have to bring science and biology into the equation when it could have just been Brandan's personal hobby to be a woman. So yeah, it's about the trans adults as well.... since those are the ones trying to play sports or the ones going around baiting restaurant employees into calling them the wrong pronoun while filming their fake outrage, etc.

    Timmy’s thread for general discussion

The other day I wrote that I would be posting a lot less in this forum and that remains true UNLESS anyone wants to engage in some serious discussion with me: you know the kind where you offer ideas and mean them, no trolling, and you’re prepared to back up your arguments. The kind where you try to avoid name calling and gratuitous remarks. If nobody wants to do that, I get it, that’s fine. Stay out of this thread and I’ll stay out of yours. If you do come into this thread looking to troll me I can’t stop you but don’t look for me to respond. As for anyone who wants to have deeper, thoughtful discussions, let’s have a clean slate. I’ll respond to everyone who seriously wants to engage with me: you don’t remember my past comments and I won’t recall yours either. We’ll start over; how’s that? I am a liberal and I know most of you are conservatives but that’s no reason we can’t engage in fruitful, respectful discussion. I am interested n the following topics: the Presidential election, Trump’s legal problems; Biden’s legal problems, abortion; climate change, inflation and the economy, gun control, race relations; the border and undocumented immigration, gay and trans issues, Ukraine and NATO, Israel and Palestine, the House and Senate races, all in no particular order. I want to discuss this stuff with serious people who disagree with me. If you’re not one of those, then no worries. We don’t need to talk any further.

  15. I suspect Donald will lean hard into this, trans in sports, and the border. He can’t talk about the number one issue for people, the economy, because he’s focked it all up. If things don’t turn around by midterms (I hope they do) these are all we will hear about 24/7.

Nancy Mace being less than cordial, convivial, and gracious

My statement was more of a general point of view on why the reactions to trans people are what they are sometimes, and biological reactions to "the enemy." These are literally our lizard brain characteristics that won't go away despite hormones or whatever. Trans women don't suddenly lose aggression because they are now "female." It's still there. If you're in front of me wearing a dress and makeup, and then suddenly you Alpha Male it up because you're pissed, you're going to spread the illusion that trans people (namely trans women) are violent when it's suits them. It's a biological trait to incite fear in the others around you. Lions growl deeper. Monkeys and apes scream louder and show their teeth. Human males stand a little taller, puff out their chests a little, deepen their voice. I've seen other videos of where trans women do this when they feel they are being threatened.
  17. A 42-year-old transgender woman who allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at vehicles and spray-painted “Nazi cars” at a Colorado Tesla dealership lives with her mother due to “emotional problems” and calls herself “baby” online. Lucy Grace Nelson, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, is accused of hurling incendiary devices at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Northern Colorado, and vandalizing the business and vehicles on multiple occasions with graffiti “offensive and hateful in nature,” police said. In one incident, the suspect allegedly took aim at Tesla CEO Elon Musk — who has previously been accused of antisemitism — scrawling “f—k Musk” with red paint on the front windows of the establishment and in another, sprayed “Nazi” on a company sign. @Tebok @Ron_Artest
  18. Its hard to read, but I guess its a screenshot of a tranny group talking about simulating the symptoms of menstruation. They include...Shoving tampons up your a$$ to prevent flatulence to make you bloated, wearing sanpaper in your bra to make breasts tender, self mutilation to genitals to make you bleed, laxative for cramps, and sleep reduction for irritability. Wtf? How are we normalizing this? Its scary and sad. These are just the people I wanna have my kids share bathrooms with.

Unfortunately I can’t admit I’m wrong about this issue because I don’t think I am. I believe that trans people should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect. I think teenagers should be able to make medical decisions in consultation with their parents and doctors without government interference or restriction, unless public health issues are involved, and in the cases of gender therapy or surgery they are not. I think gender dysphoria is a mental disorder that can lead, if untreated, to suicide; the only treatment to gender dysphoria is therapy and ultimately a sex change operation. I do not believe that a teenager can be talked into gender dysphoria. I do not believe that a straight teenager can be talked into trans or gay. Finally I don’t believe that trans athletes should play in girls sports but it’s a really minor issue to me. These things I believe based on what I read and understand. If public opinion is 80-20 going the other way I can’t help that. It is what it is.

80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals

No to the economy and war but trans issues are massively motivating. Reasonable people can disagree about climate/energy policy or foreign policy issues like Ukraine or such, I could see voting one way or the other on candidates over such things. But trans is a killer issuer with a glaring red line. People who support it are morally bankrupt and I will never vote for a trans-advocate for any position anywhere ever.
  21. Go get perverted somewhere else! See a psychiatrist After President Donald Trump issued an executive order restricting access to gender-affirming medical care for transgender people under 19, many hospitals nationwide abruptly cut off treatment for trans youth. This sent thousands of families scrambling, with some even wondering if they needed to leave the country to protect their family’s future. If enforced, President Trump’s order will deny transgender youth access to medically-necessary care, like puberty blockers and hormone therapy, even as these same treatments remain readily available to their cisgender peers. The order also intends to cut or reduce federal funding for health care providers who refuse to prioritize the Trump administration’s political preferences over their patients’ medical needs. Since his first term, Trump and his administration have carried out a years-long effort to roll back protections for LGBTQ people. Beginning in January, the Trump administration issued a series of executive orders that remove protections for trans people. His directives include targeting transgender students, banning trans Americans from military service, and giving federal agencies the green light to openly discriminate against their trans employees. These orders align with the extremist vision of Project 2025, a sweeping right-wing agenda that seeks to dismantle civil rights protections, consolidate presidential power, and dehumanize transgender people.

80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals

1-5 for me hit home. I did not vote FOR Trump. I voted against the democrats. I do not care who it is. I likely will never vote democrat again after the shitt they have pulled over the last 10 years. They go out of their way to be on the wrong side of things. Then get super pisssed off when people do not want to follow. 4/5 is something I am never going to get behind with something like 10 nieces/great nieces. The "trust the science" people suddenly are so dumb on this issue. I literally do not care if your name is barny and you want to be called Betsy. Does not matter at all to me. If that is what make YOU happy. Go for it. But understand the world does not bend to YOU. You do no get to go to places women go. You do not get to play sports with women and expect the rest of us to pretend not to notice you are bigger, faster and stronger. That is simply not fair OR safe to women/girls. All of these people that keep coming out to support Trans Athletes never had to compete against them or to have to change in a locker room with them. Funny how that works. Easy to say when you never had to look across as a woman and see some dude you have no chance of beating. "oh but only ____ percent of trans athletes play sports. You are blowing it out of proportion." Is that ____ a 0? If not, the percentage is too high. If you believe that anything more than 0 is ok, I can never support anything you do as a party. You actively are trying to put women in danger because of your rabid support of trans people.
  23. Seems that white people are treated differently by Summit public schools in California . “You get presented with, on equal merits, like a white person or a black person or whatever. Yeah, we're going with the black person,” revealed Jonathan Ferrer, Director of Human Resources for Summit Public Schools, a charter network operating in California and Washington, to an OMG hidden camera, admitting to employment practices that violate federal and state anti-discrimination laws. During the hidden camera investigation, Ferrer acknowledged that hiring decisions are often made based on race. He explained further that hiring is evaluated in terms of the school’s perceived cultural needs, adding, “Who do we feel is best for kids right now in the context of that school site or that classroom? So if it’s a person of color, great. If it’s a trans teacher, great.” Ferrer also discussed how the district’s DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) priorities impact candidate selection. When asked if there are certain quotas they try to meet, he explained, “Obviously we have a lot of kids that identify as LGBTQ, maybe even trans. So we have one trans teacher in our district… and so I think it’s just culturally, we just naturally look for those folks.” Ferrer also admitted that political ideology plays a role in who is and isn’t hired. When asked if Summit Public Schools would ever hire someone who supports Donald Trump, Ferrer bluntly replied, “I don’t think we would hire them.” He elaborated that the school uses DEI-based interview questions to filter out candidates who do not align with the district’s values. “We do have DEI questions built into our selection process,” Ferrer said. “We have a rubric… if they say any of these things, this is not someone who's answering the question the way we’re aligned to answer the question.” He provided an example of the kind of response that would disqualify a candidate, saying, “If the candidate or teacher is like, ‘Well, I want to make sure that [students] learn about conservative values,’ blah, blah, blah… that’s probably not what we are looking for.”
  24. Liberals love this. But TRUMP!!! https://www.foxnews.com/sports/women-athletes-dont-compete-vs-transgender-team-usa-track-event-giving-default-victory-trans-athlete The trans athlete then competed against multiple teenage opponents in another event, taking first place from a 14-year-old Transgender track and field athlete Sadie Schreiner took first place at the USA Track and Field (USATF) Open Masters Championships in the women's 400-meter dash in New York Saturday The other participants in the event, Anna Vidolova and Amaris Hiatt, have no recorded times and are listed as DNS, did not start. Schreiner is 21 years old, while Vidolova is just 17, and Hiatt is 16. After the 400-meter race, Schreiner competed in the women's 200-meter dash and also won first place. Schreiner defeated 14-year-old runner-up Zwange Edwards, 16-year-old third-place finisher Zariah Hargrove, 15-year-old Leah Walker and 18-year-old Ainsley Rausch. That event also had multiple participants listed as DNS, including 18-year-old Jordan Carr, 46-year-old Amanda Taylor, Vidolova again and 16-year-old Paula Damiens. USATF policy allows trans athletes to compete in the women's category in compliance with Internatonal Olympic Committee (IOC) policy. However, USATF "requires that certain medical benchmarks be achieved before an athlete may compete as the opposite gender for medals, prize money and other benefits." Fox News Digital has reached out to USATF for comment. Schreiner previously competed for Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) women's track and field team and gained national notoriety for dominating female opponents and frequent social media videos boasting about it as an openly transgender competitor. However, Schreiner was ruled ineligible to compete for RIT after the NCAA revised its gender eligibility policy Feb. 6, one day after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to ban trans athletes from women's and girls sports.

What is a “trans advocate”? I thought the main issue was protecting the kids? Is it moving to not being accepting of trans adults either?
