Q.Lazzarus 0 Posted May 17, 2006 I enjoy vocalists with a little flair, like Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughn etc. My vote for the most angelic voice of all time is Karen Carpenter. She was amazing.

Juniper 0 Posted May 17, 2006 Whitney Houston. It's a shame she's been reduced to nothing but a crack ho nowadays. But for a singer with such widespread mainstream popularity during the '80's and '90's; Whitney had a majestic, powerful voice. She didn't fvck around with all of the swoops and oooaaahhhooowwwoooaaahhhs like Mariah Carey and wasn't as full of herself as Celine Dion. Her rendition of The Star Spangled Banner before Super Bowl XXV, even if it was a tape or lip sync version; was glorious.

SUXBNME 1,348 Posted May 17, 2006 You know who else comes to mind is Kate Pearson Singer from the B52's (redhead) I probably got her name wrong, but I'm too drunk to google it. That woman has a beautiful voice
dcOne 2 Posted May 17, 2006 Marina Belica....original lead singer of October Project. And So...for kicks and giggles....I look up Marina Belica on Whitepages.com. It was listed. I called it. I got a funny message. This makes me wonder how many "semi-famous" or "formerly famous" people have their numbers listed.

Also late add as I'm off to see Over the Rhine with Karin Bergquist as the lead singer. I melt for these girls, so might be biased later. Also Hem ( Sally Ellyson). SUXBNME 1,348 Posted May 17, 2006 Hot and beautiful voice are different, young butterfly. You don't think she has a beautiful voice? Maybe I'm just sucked in to her outer beauty to think any different.. Although the title of the post is "Most beautiful singer you have ever heard" Leaves a little room for my fantasies
GuidingLight 3 Posted May 17, 2006 You don't think she has a beautiful voice? Maybe I'm just sucked in to her outer beauty to think any different.. Good, yes. Beauty just exudes. It, at most times, is indefineable. Thats where I put those I voted.
SUXBNME 1,348 Posted May 17, 2006 Good, yes. Beauty just exudes. It, at most times, is indefineable. Thats where I put those I voted. Where do you rank Amy Lee ? Shes pretty, not beautiful, but she sings beautifully (damn, I'm buzzed) I mean, I haven't heard all the women that have been mentioned here sing, but I know what moves me. Shania Twain moves me..Maybe her looks influence that Kate Pearson moves me..(I'm still not sure I got the name right) Olivia Newton John MOVED me (past tense)..Probably just the content, and not the talent.. Suzanna Hoffs.....Well, that was just the big brown eyes in "walk like an egyptian" (damn..this is some focked up spelling) Hell..Joan Baez was pretty cool too...Mary from "Peter, Paul and Mary" Fock...Kill me now..I'm rambling
