So I have a blind date tomomorrow

Recommended Posts

32 years old, long curly blonde hair, likes Henry Rollins, old punk and 80s rock, and she's a grad student in psychology. We're meeting for brunch at noon. Wish me luck.

oh.

Well, you pretty much shot that down with the ol' "8 Mile" approach.

How about this one.

Don't wear more mascara than she does.

Or......

Wonder if she was ever a secretary like you?

Blind chicks are probably a good way for you to go. Now if you can just keep yourself from talking you might have a shot.

If she's deaf too I can write letters on her hand Hellen Keller style. Hopefully she's got no hands to put on my horribly ugly face. :(

That major would scare me.

:ninja:

My roommate in college was a psych major and was always diagnosing me with something. Sadly, it was never frotterism, but paranoia and manic depression.

Also, MDC, she sounds pretty awesome. I wish I could go on a blind date with someone like that.

It went "OK."

I picked a terrific brunch place - unfortunately I learned that they only serve brunch on Sundays (d'oh!) so we ended up having lunch. She was not hot but certainly "cute" - tall and slender, long blonde hair. Kind of a hippy type which surprised me given her music interests. No makeup and wasn't really dressed for a first date - jeans and a t. I'm pretty casual but y'know, you're meeting someone for the first time, don't you want to make a good first impression?

Very smart - background in Web development, going for her master's in psychology and intends to get a PhD. Seems to have a lot going on in her life. Struck me as a little self-involved - the entire conversation revolved around her and what she's up to. Which is OK to a point cause I wanted to know but you'd think she'd want to know more about my background and such. At any rate, I don't regret the two hours but I don't think I'll be asking her out again.

Fire away. :bench:

That sucks. I can't believe anyone ever does that on a date. The clothing, could pass over that, if the personality turns you off from the beggining, can't imagine it's ever worth a second date. Better luck next time

I can't believe this crap.

You of all people should know the focking rules by now.

I am deeply disappointed and if I am pushed I will have to admit a little sad that it has come to this.

So now I have to ask the question that should have been answered earlier.

CAN SIZE?

unfockingbelievable.
