At the "other place", I pointed out to the most prolific female poster there ( probably over 50K posts in over 15-20 years) that she intentionally chose a screen name, avatar and description that identified her as female/woman. So she could get attention. Then she came up with all kinds of explanations as to why she chose the avatar she did, why she chose the screen name she did, etc, etc. 

Women in general like attention. It's not a crime to want attention. Men in a commitment however don't find the behavior trustworthy. Men are hardwired, nearly all of them, to value loyalty above all else. If you have a collective, men need to rely on each other to defend the tribe, and hunt, and work together for the common good of survival. So "disloyalty" is basically a death sentence for everyone involved. This was ingrained in our hunter/gatherer days and that instinct is still strong and lingers today. 

For some women, "bad attention" is tragically still better to them than no attention at all. So I don't believe in behavior like talking about which women should be rated as the most worthy to "bang" on a public message board in front of those actual women. But if others want to do it, then let them. That's their free speech. 

You clearly like attention. So IMHO you should embrace that. Just be upfront that you like attention. But if you act that way and choose that path, don't expect any man worth his salt to actually trust you deep down. Maybe some of the unhinged posters here would have no problem with it, but does that sound like a ringing endorsement of them in general? 

I think it would just be better if women who chose to frequent in mostly male spaces like this chose screen names, avatars and engagement that didn't out them as female. But then you'd lose the "bonus" perks of being a woman in a mostly male space. You can't have it both ways at the same time, that you do, well, that truly encapsulates you as a woman. 

My take is I wish you thought better of yourself than to try to game attention like this. I'm not talking about just this thread either, as this is probably a long standing kind of thing. I don't care what "size" you or any other woman here on this forum were at their prom. Doesn't matter to me. I'd just rather you valued yourself more than this.

Avatar that indicates you are a female / woman? Check.

"Gender" category filled out to firmly identify yourself as a "female" to imply woman?  Check. 

"Location" category filled out to imply other posters in the US could be closer to you geographically or the most "thirsty" might be deluded into having a chance? Check. 

Everything there is optional. You don't need to have an unique avatar, you don't need to share your gender nor location. Your screen name could have been anything that lent itself to being neutral in tone. 

But there are clearly benefits in American society for a woman to identify herself as an actual woman in an environment that she knows are nearly completely full of adult males.

Infer you are on Tinder or are thinking about Tinder, which will generate attention from males here? Check.

So, from a behavioral psychology standpoint, men typically discuss with other men on how to do things. Problem solve. How to achieve a goal or overcome some obstacle or how to fix something. Men are hardwired to exchange information, tips, tactics and strategy. This is how the human race has survived. Women however are socialized to typically discuss group dynamics and interpersonal interaction with other women. They can't typically achieve power through direct violence nor in most established large community social structures, so they must informally set up social hierarchies amongst themselves. This is also why women gossip. 

Women like attention. The more attention a woman gets, the more it comforts her from a resource perspective. In the hunter/gatherer days, an isolated and abandoned woman, especially with a child, without a male mate, was at far greater risk of not surviving. 

Hence women are rarely "direct" in their interactions with men. When they are and do, it's because other pathways towards getting attention have been starved out.

You are indicating you can "drink" which is a form of typical social lubrication in male/female dynamics. (i.e. infer while possibly "drunk" that anything is possible)

You are clearly stating you were, back then, divorced and "back on the market" 

You make it clear you are open to "online hook ups" or the thought of as such. Hence implying men here, because this place is a giant sausage factory, might "have a chance" 

It's OK that you want attention. Male attention. Nothing is wrong with that. But you are clearly desperate for it. If you could get male attention heavily from traditional means, you wouldn't scrape the bottom of the barrel for it here. Or maybe you get a lot of male attention elsewhere, and it's just not enough to fill the need for external validation. 

Which goes back to my main point from the start -- I wish you valued yourself more. Then you wouldn't need to do any of this at all. I wished you thought of yourself better than to parade around men online inferring about making out with other women, online hookups, Tinder and your "status" at different points in your life.
