TheNewGirl 1,489 Posted October 8, 2007 Without disclosing my bib number or time, just wanted to say that I finished it and did a LOT better than I thought I would. Hubby was VERY impressed, as I did better than what he thought I would do as well. He actually bragged to several people about it when I wasn't around...so that's pretty cool in my book. I have also registered for a 10K on Thanksgiving Day, hope to maybe do a half in the spring. I received a suggestion to do a couple of halves before I do a full marathon...so will keep that in mind!!! Thank you those who have given me support! I appreciate it and you for it!!! Strike 5,536 Posted October 8, 2007 Congrats Two questions: 1) Are your funbags sore after bouncing around for however long the run takes? 2) Where are my nekked pictures you promised me last week?

No, my boobage isn't sore. I wear two sports bras, and the first one is pretty constricting. The nekkid pics are still on my computer, I didn't send them. LOL. Mr. Football 0 Posted October 8, 2007 Honestly not being an azzhole. Just being a realist. It is 3.1miles for gods sake. It is great that you ran it, but let's keep it real.

Mr. Football 0 Posted October 8, 2007 Look....I have been on these boards a lot longer than most of you, and only post when I see a topic that deserves a reply. Not bursting TNG's bubble, but she obviously was looking for some attention by telling folks she ran her first 5 k.

For a beginning runner in their 30's (I am guessing), running a 5k is a good milestone to hit. Most people in their 30's are so out of shape they get winded walking up a flight of stairs. Mr. Football 0 Posted October 8, 2007 I do wish you luck and give you credit for getting off your azz and doing it. I am by no means a serious runner, but have done a dozen or so marathons and halfs

So nice you had to post it twice. STFU Postwh0re. Congrats on the 5K. Makes me sad, actually. I was running 3 miles a day earlier this year and told some friends I was considering running in a 5K. Ironically, I was too lazy to figure out how many miles were in a 5K. And my times....nothing to write home about, but I was doing 3 miles in 24-27 minutes. Not bad for a former fatfock that never even ran a full mile at once before my 28th birthday.
