You could have saved yourself space by saying "any candidate that could actually help my country instead of running it into the ground like my current President."

Actually, that would take a lot more space but make more sense than your list.

For me, it's Mitt Romney. What a no-nothing piece of sh!t who only got his job (as MA gov) because the broad that was in office before him (Jane Swift) was such a fvcking disaster! Even Recliner Pissant could have taken office after that debacle!

To you I guess the following is "running the country into the ground":

Pulling us out of the Clinton recession.

Overcoming the economic impact of 9/11

Tax cuts for every person in the country who pays income taxes.

Record revenue coming into the Gubmint.

Record low unemployment.

166,000 jobs created last month alone.

Pulling us out of the Clinton recession.

Wow, you really are a spinning douche! Back to ignore with ye!

Keep convincing yourself that GWB isn't the biggest disgrace of a two-term President this country has had in over 100 years. You're one of the few Republitards that still feel that way!

He has been the biggest republican disgrace. Jimmy Carter still takes the cake.

That being said, I still believe that even though the Bush administration has done some very bad and stupid things, we are in a better place now than we would be if Gore had been elected or if Kerry had been elected. I would also vote for Jimmy Carter before I would vote for Hillary Clinton.

Good point, but my assessment of GWB still stands since I qualified him with "two-term President."

You can't go by "what ifs" when it comes to the Presidency. While I'm not sold that Kerry would have done a good job, I'm sure Gore would have done just fine through the first four years. Having less than zero charisma or personality isn't a prerequisite for knowing what you're doing.

Bush is charming...in a third grader fingerpaints a picture for his Mommy kind of way. Doesn't really mean much in the long run though.

Shh! Don't ruin the Democrats' strategy. :nono:

ok, two term.

Bush's mistake has been his overreaction. Bush truly believes this is a global struggle of us vs. them (America vs. Islam). I think the one thing most democrats can't understand is how he got reelected. The reelection of Bush was also an overreaction. I'll try and put it into terms that I believe to be true. I think the choice was having a president who would go in and do whatever they can (even at the cost of civil liberties, human lives, and most importantly our soldiers lives) to eliminate the threat and a president that would waffle in the face of public opinion and go back to the status quo of having the foreign policy of the United States influenced by organizations such as the UN. What these same people fail to realize is the possibility of this foreign policy could create a bigger threat and that the civil liberties surrendered might be used in other ways.

Of the legit candidates, I'd never vote for:

Clinton (D)

McCain ®

Romney ®

Thompson ®

Guiliani ®

That leaves me (in no particular order):

Edwards (D)

Obama (D)

Paul ®

With Clinton/Guiliani leading the polls, it's not looking good...

Mike Huckabee because I loathe the Evangelical agenda (even though I personally like him and think he has integrity)

Mitt Romney- Biggest two faced craven chameleon liar I've ever seen. Will say anything to anybody. Has no core beliefs, they just change with the prevailing winds. I expected him to convert to Southern Baptist by now, but maybe that move would that be too obvious.

Hillary.

Instantly unelectable in my book.

I'd honestly vote for a 3rd term for Bush.

But, that's mostly because I want him to have to wallow in the chit-pile he and his buddies created. :dunno:

Um, I was addressing his "running the country into the ground" crack. I know you don't like the Iraq war, but you don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to the issues I brought up.

So basically, Ron Paul. But if he doesn't win the ® nomination and Obama steals the nomination from Hillary, I'd toss him a vote, because he's one of the few legit candidates that is not on record as supporting our debacle in the ME. And it'd hopefully signal to the current ® establishment that they need to change.

Also, anyone that is arguing that Bush is a good President, particularly that he has helped the economy in any way, shape, or form, is either an idiot, or heavily invested in foreign markets (specifically, China's). The Canadian dollar is worth more than ours, for Christ's sake.
