The Moz 69 Posted November 6, 2007 To Me the best of the old school rappers was a toss between Run DMC and Ice T . Run DMC for being the first big radio Rappers ( other than maybe Sugar Hill Gang ) and Ice T for being pretty much the first gangster rapper at least as far as I remember. Bier Meister 1,514 Posted November 7, 2007 voted run, but prefer beastie boys. ll is right there with run dmc..... funny to see the different era's and evolution of and dissection into different genre/s. nwa seemed more cutting edge, but now is also considered oldschool

p.man 7 Posted November 8, 2007 Don't forget Jimmy Spicer. Who? The Adventures Of Super Rhymes. If You've never heard this song than you should listen to it. I have 2 original 12' copy's. 1 open and 1 never opened. There is actually a 2nd rap song on the record. It is the continuation of the first that is heard here. They ended the 2nd song before it was done. Here's the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sh-IJibcR2I Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five should also be listed in this thread.
