Oh, MDC has always been the Sanctuary's cuckold. They got a hold of his girlfriend/ex-girlfriend's naked pics and posted them. Then they started linking us to the failed articles MDC wrote. He was such a disaster he had to give up his pursuit of his dreams. Of course, when the threads got too heated, MDC would promptly delete them, gaining the reputation for the worst offender of thread deletion in FFT history. Yes, peenie, you have no worries of ever being over taken for that dubious distinction, bless your heart. Oh, let's not forget the putting on a fock load of face makeup to go to a Depeche Mode concert.

 

Still, most of these threads went bye bye in the Latin Pimp purge December 2005 through March 2006. MikeFFT scorched the earth and started over.

 

Still, let's never forget, MDC is one of FFT's most prolific punching bags. Colostomy bags. Whatever.

 

I seem to recall MikeFFT scorched the earth because some users hacked in or accidentally got admin rights and he considered shutting the whole thing down. I remember Rusty syringes and a few others did some harmless stuff, but others might have messed stuff up.

Yes, there were a few that logged in as Admin during the crash. They were documenting the shenanigans over at thedanzone. Rusty was not one of the guys. In fact, it wasn't the Sanctuary regulars. I can name at least 4 or 5 guys that did the naughty stuff, but I don't know if that is wise. Mike did terminate their accounts, although most of them have resurfaced under a different handle.

 

I think the basic activities from that day were to bust aliases and to un-ban MooseKnuckleBallFour (MKB4).

 

Also, it is important to note, they didn't crash the site. A "Latin Pimp" type was crashing different sites around that time. A couple of specific members of the Sanctuary were linked to the crash unofficially, which I've always been curious about. But anyway, the guys you mentioned saw the fence was broken and walked in to explore the inner workings. For the record, I was not participating, just taking notes.

It was probably for the best that it happened anyway, I remember some users were really getting out of hand and basically acting like they were board mods even though they weren't. Probably why I had a 3-4 year hiatus from FFT boards (hence the low post count), even though I still visited regularly for the draft projections and articles. It seems a lot quieter here now. I do remember the battles with other board users from other sites who would come here just to troll.
