What's your favorite soup?

Recommended Posts

Split pea. Won't eat regular peas on a bet though.

Ever since watching the tub girl video I have not been able to eat split pea soup for some reason.

Gotta be Minestrone or Chicken and Dumplings

I can dig a really good tomatoe soup if I have some grilled cheese sandwiches to dip it in.

By far Hot and Sour soup but only from this one Chinese restaurant. Everywhere else it's just been okay...wish I knew how they did it.

Hate beets on their own but Borsch is pretty good.

For me? Lobster Bisque. Man, great taste, texture, substance. Love that stuff.

Now for an odd one: Big fan of Borscht. Both warm and cold. I know a lot of folks might freak over the idea of beet soup, but it's actually damn good. Never thought I'd buy off on cold soup, but this stuff is actually pretty damn good - cold or hot.

Collect chunks of scraps of low grade meat and grizzle that didn't quite make the cut to be made into scrapple. Basically, the stuff you would sweep off the floor in a slaughter house. Put the bloody and bony mess into a chillled congealed clear jello made up primarily of chicken fat and the oil drippings from a fish fry. Top generously with your mom's grey twat hair.

butternut squash

This one is madly underappreciated. Most people turn their noses up at it without ever trying it. It's very good.

- and a really good tip for those looking to do a side dish different than the rest this thursday.

Tomato, with a couple pieces of buttered toast for dipping.

Tomato soup is excellent when you spice it up with some Parmesan cheese. :dunno:
