After exhaustive research, "Gay is not genetic"

Which makes me sad.

This thread is not about marriage.

Why is everybody so hung up on this? This thread is about the propaganda of the Gay Movement in this country.

I think gay marriage is relevant to the conversation since the belief that the gays can just not act gay is a prime argument for not supporting marriage rights for same sex couples.

I've got no idea what gay movement you think is out there, other than their annoying habit of insisting on equal rights.

Well, you keep trying to grab the wheel of this thread and crash into a Twinkie truck so you can scoop up some collateral damage in clear wrappers.

What, your main mission in life is the tax status of people living in a house? What, are you Green Lantern Accountant, with his sidekick Gayto? Most of these fuckos get the same rights. How about a guy that's been living with his broad for a month. Should he be given the same rights at the gay couple? Well, that guy doesn't? You going to stick up for that guy?

Absolutely not.

I understand the religious right wanting to protect the sanctity of marriage. But if a gay couple devotes themselves to each other for the rest of their lives, shouldn't they get the same protection/benefits that every married couple gets (even if it's termed "civil union")?

MDC, CH, listen up.

You are fighting with the wrong person. I am a Libertarian. I believe that the government should keep their d!cks out of our lives. I have no beef with abortion and gay marriage. I have personal opinions, but it doesn't matter what I think. The government shouldn't be legislating on these things. I'm a strict Constitutionalist.

My issue is that for years, the media and national gay groups have been shoving the mantra "You are born GAY" as a fact, and so many people have been buying the bullsh!t. I ranted and raved against hypocrisy for years and years and years. I am a facts man. Always have been, always will. And reference my pro-free speech opinions supporting every broadcaster in every thread on this site, regardless of comments or political affiliation.

I hate bullsh!tters. Period.

As far as your Cali being in the red comment, does being in the red mean that gays should be discriminated against economically?

"Mean"? I said nothing about right or wrong. I merely pointed out that there was an economic elephant in the room.

You're absolutely right about that. To me, that's what this whole thing is about from the gay perspective.

What's your point? I thought I was clear: I was asked to chime in, I did, and my conclusion is "we don't know", and that conclusion was, and continues to be, supported by a bunch of illogical data on both sides.

I'm with you on this one. I think that many people, however, have a problem with the "we don't know" line of thinking. I think that we need to continue to look at it and determine whether it is a nature or nuture thing. I sure do hope that we don't spend more effort on that than determining the cause for cancer, autism, and other things that really matter.

You really care whether or not two phags are legally married or just living together pretending to be married? Care to explain why?

Which makes me sad.

I'm hoping to write more articles for the site this summer/fall. Mike and Wildman don't like it when I'm disrespectful of other posters. Doesn't really reflect well upon the site. I have to tone it down a bit.

Though you make it very hard.

FWIW, I don't think that Matt is going to be contacting you to write for FFToday this fall.

Copy and paste this...

Dear Mike and Mike:

We like Chronic Husker. Sure, his balls smell a bit like onions, he is as sharp as a bowl of oatmeal, and his Moe Howard haircut makes us think that he is a bit retarded, but don't let anything he types on the Geek Bored reflect poorly on his character. If he is not in currently in jail, so that makes him a good egg. And if he were in jail, I'm sure it's for a good reason.

Sincerely,

Two Time Geek of the Year and icon to hundred of thousands of Geeks,

One problem I see is that since they are basing this argument on the equal protection clause, they will have to open it to anybody and everybody and any and all types of unions. How can they only give it to the phags and not the others using the EPC???

Actually, I can do less. I should go back and delete that post. Since when did I get charitable?

Obviously I didn't know that. Haven't been around much and have been out of touch with just about everyone for about a year now. Hope it was an agreeable split. Matt was an awesome editor.

I don't know what the situation was, but I know that Matt indicated that he had the utmost respect for the folks at FFToday. Sure seems like no animosity and I have not seen any "Wildman burning in effigy" emoticons on this site, so I guess there were no hard feelings.

I guess I forgot how many Mikes are/were around these parts. I respect that guy a lot.

But FBG are a flat out joke. For about 8 years in a row, in every one of my leagues, somebody was using FBG, free or pay. None, I mean NONE of those teams ever made the playoffs. That site is horrible for football sheets, product, or advice.

I have never met a FBG subcscriber, in any of my multiple leagues, that ever made the playoffs. Ever.

Cut and paste that, and post it on this site's home page.

So you just use FBG as an outlet to discuss the intracacies of John Tesh's music?

Sounds like it was amicable. Hope that's the case. This site will definitely miss Waldman. Without a doubt, the best writer in the history of the site. I'm imagining it probably came down to money since that's how he makes his living (and FBG is bigger and prolly richer), but that's just a guess.

I would tend to agree that it was related to money. Let's not pretend that this site is raking in the dough. Matt put in a lot of time and put forth some excellent content. That has value.

Why to ghey's care so damn much anyway? Nobody is keeping them from shacking up and humping one another. They should be happy they don't have to get married. Fock, if I could have talked my wife into just shacking up with me and not making it all legal and crap I would have been happy as a lark.

The ghey's got it good. But I guess they need the attention or something. Like wearing assless chaps. It doesn't do anything but draw the craved attention.

If human sexuality is genetic in homosexuality and heterosexuality, then all of it is genetic. This means, necrophilia, pedophilia, beastiality, a-sexuality, etc.... is all genetic, and not wrong.

This means that you can't criminalize anybody for their sexuality, since they can't help it, and therefore, we have to set all of the pedophiles, sheep fockers, and corpse fockers free from prison. Can't criminalize a person for the way they were born, this does not make them a criminal afterall, they can't help it, they were born that way. Just like fat people. They are born with the fat gene, they can't help it.

I know your are fishing with your lake of fire shiot, but this is an interesting point I've mentioned before. A predisposition (genetic, chemical, biological, some combo, whatever) does not a priori make the behavior acceptable by society. I think that most non-child-molestors would agree that pedophilia is wrong, and would also agree that something must be wired wrong in those sick focks. I'm not trying to equate in any way that behavior vs. homosexuality, but rather am pointing out that such a defense is baseless.

Maybe ghay can be taught. That would explain prison logic. I never understood the alleged pitching/catching difference.

Well, I'm sure that there are many differences between shacking up and being legally married. For instance, if a homo's place of employment has a family health plan, he couldn't put the dude he's shacking up with on the plan like any guy with a female wife could. I'm sure that's only one of thousnads of reasons they'd like their relationship to be made official by being married.

At my place of employment a ghey person can have his SO on their plan. There is single coverage, signifcant other coverage, and Family coverage.

And I do think a ghey 'couple' should be given the same tax breaks, health benefits, and/or estate planning like married couples. But that is not what drives this. If it was, this issue would have been handled long ago with a civil union type resolution. The gheys will not accept that and want it to be MARRAIGE. It's an attention thing. It has nothing to do with being equal in terms of the gov't for the monetary/public record issues, it's about them waving their rainbow sticker outside their car window and saying look at me; I'm here and I'm Queer!@#!

So at issue for you isn't giving them the same rights as a married couple, just calling it MARRIAGE. That's it, that when they fill out the form at the courthouse, they won't accept checking the civil union box, but want to check the marriage box.

Damn them for not accepting a seperate but equal resolution.
