MLCKAA 574 Posted November 26, 2009 At least as far as FF is concerned. Don't give me the excuses-- if you're the man, then you make it happen. His season is more than a "down year" to be blamed on the OL. This year has been a joke and I am kinda wondering if he has what its gonna take to be one of the top WRs in the league. Sorry for the rant.

Sorry for the rant. I agree. I am content to own driver in some leagues but in others I have jennings. Expected alot more from him. Some one here claims driver was being taken above jennings this year in drafts. We both know that is false and that jennings was the stud #1 for the pack last year and should be this year. Might be saved by a late garbage time td bomb to him.
dreen626 17 Posted November 26, 2009 I drafted nothing but busts this year @ WR.....Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings, TJ Housh and Lance Moore. Great.

HawkLatino 0 Posted November 26, 2009 Once again Driver is tearing it up and Jennings isn't doing much!! I'm so sick of this!! The game is not over yet though so maybe Jennings will get a TD... I hope!

Law 241 Posted November 26, 2009 You guys forget the one basic rule in deciding which Packer WR will go off in a given week: Last week I played against Jennings and you saw what happened. This week, Driver and you see the results.
MLCKAA 574 Posted November 26, 2009 Why does it seem like people like yourself have complained week in and week out about him for the last 8 weeks, but still start the guy? Makes little sense to me. This was my 3rd time starting Jennings this year, and the first time sincve week 2. I'm in a dynasty league with a team I took over just this season. I have some nice dynasty gems like R. Rice, D. Brown, S. Greene, H. Nicks to go along with a couple established players in M. Colston and D. Williams. More than being disappointed about this season, I'm starting to think Jennings just doesn't have what it takes.

ric0 23 Posted November 26, 2009 what a focking waste of a 3rd round pick. going against the guy who drafted driver. making the playoffs this year isn't likely. yeah thanks.

mgs316 14 Posted November 26, 2009 Watch Rodgers, Jennings is rarely in his progressions. Look at the Target numbers from this game, he's hardly getting anymore looks l than the 3,4,5 options if at all. I hate this guy.

MLCKAA 574 Posted November 27, 2009 The defense dictates which receiver will get the first look at the ball. Sure. Jerry and Marvin should thank the defenses for dictating that they would be the two greatest receivers in history. I bet Bernard Berrian wishes the defense would dictate that he get more looks. Its not about talent.

shovelheadt 71 Posted November 27, 2009 I rarely trade future picks, but made an exception a couple of weeks ago. I was kind of weak in my 16 team league at WR, with only Andre Johnson and Percy Harvin that were worth a damn. I made multiple buy low offers for Jennings, but the guy wouldn't bite...thank god. I finally got Driver from someone for an extra 2nd and 4th rounder in next year's draft that I got for LT. And it's a 16 team/5 keeper league, so the 2nd and 4th is really a 7th and 9th. listen2me 23 1,873 Posted November 27, 2009 The people that sit here and complain about a football player all year long because they did not perform up to expectation are losers. Relax. Everyone acts like preseason rankings should match up with end of the season production. It doesn't, shiot happens. Why did Jennings look so good last year compared to Driver? Does his down year mean he sucks? Get real.
MTSkiBum 1,620 Posted November 27, 2009 He is no where near an "all time great" He is on pace for 1050 yards. If this is a "down" year for jennings he might go down as an all time great.
e-factor 13 Posted November 27, 2009 He is on pace for 1050 yards. If this is a "down" year for jennings he might go down as an all time great. Agree............ Most people didn't draft him earlier than the 3rd and while he hasn't done as well as expected, he hasn't been horrible and there are a hell of a lot of players drafted before him that have done a lot worse. I have started him all year in one league and have no complaints.
ERZER 0 Posted November 27, 2009 How does Aaron Rogers have 343 yards passing mid way through 4th Q and Jennings with a TOTAL of 48?? Seriously. Watching the game yesterday, it was very obvious he wasn't even looking his way. On that long pass that Driver managed to pull in, Jennings was more open and close enough for a first down. Rogers looked to his left and then quickly looked right and then went down field. Maybe there is an issue between Jennings and Rogers...

Maybe there is an issue between Jennings and Rogers... I just think teams are starting to finally take away the quick slant a bit. It is a staple in the Packers offense, and a big part of Jenning's game. They still throw them, but not as much.

devius 4 Posted November 28, 2009 alot of Jennings production last couple of years was based on long shots downfield... defenses have keyed in on this and have brought over safety help etc... leaving driver open in the middle or single coverage downfield... it was very much a concern with those drafting Jennings this year. Packers have 3 even 4 very capable WR's so its gotta be understood that they will spread the ball a bit.
