Well, there's now a lawsuit to force them to have the prom and allow the girl to come however she wishes. Only a guess, but I have a feeling the school will cave on this one, too (as in Alabama).

What cracks me up is the clowns that take a stance behind a Christian anti-gay agenda (surferskin, jets24, RP, crawfish) but won't come out and simply say they don't believe homosexuality is moral (because the Bible tells them so). Haven't read all this mess, but please explain to me how this is different than schools mandating a dress code/uniform or establishing attendance/dress/date policies for prom that have nothing to do with sex?

 

 

At my school, you had to wear "appropriate dress" or be sent home from prom. No jeans or t-shirts or anything ridiculous. Again, could a boy have worn a dress? You also couldn't bring anyone 21 or older. Why? What if they were your bf/gf and you loved them and wanted to have them there? Why could juniors/seniors only get in unless signed in by a junior/senior? Why did you have to attend the FULL day before prom to be allowed to go? Why after 8 absences during the semester of prom were you not allowed to go?

If you're going to argue that it's unnatural, it better be something that doesn't happen in nature.
