Adrian Peterson - What looked like a no brainer at the beginning of the season suddenly has me worried, going up against the second best rush defense in the league. Maybe they will install the WildVike offense for next week.....

My playoffs started in Week 13 so I am in the finals. I squeaked in there after a terrible week on the last play of the week. That Schaub INT won me my game, although it was total meltdown bs watching his team soar back into the lead barely on the arm of Schaub in the 4th quarter last night. But, even though my team has been absolutely decimated by injuries this year, I am still standing and have a shot this weekend, albeit only a small one. I have lost Grant, P Thomas, Best, and M Clayton to injury already, as well as Cassel last week and Rodgers during the game last week. We also have a really shallow bench (5 spots). Keeps it interesting

 

We start 2QB, 3RB or 2RB/1TE, 3WR, K and Def. Return yards for individual players (more for punt return yards than kick return yards). It is a 12 man league, and each yard is a point, so QBs are premium in this league. Rush/Rec TDs are 100pts, pass TDs are 60pts, kick return yards 1/2 pt per yard, punt return yards are 1pt per yard. Def is each yard against is -1pt and then sacks, int, etc, get you positive points. Most defenses each week give you negative points against.

Not sure what to do with Mendenhall. Logic says sit him against the Jets, but I don't know. If I do, Jackson would be getting the start @ MIA. Will have to look at the matchups.

 

Bowe and Jennings will stay put, but those QBs better get their asses back on the field. If one or either do miss out, I'd have to decide between Stevie Johnson and VJax. Not a choice I want to have to make. RUB SOME GOD DAMNED DIRT ON IT.

 

But I like having the Steelers D - wasted a 30 point outing last week with the bye, but Sanchez is good for just as many turnovers and sacks this week.

 

 

 

For his team, he's got Fitzpatrick at Miami (start Johnson to steal points? hmm...), Foster @ TEN. Holmes @ PIT. Jacobs @ PHI (give Bradshaw the damn ball again, Coughlin). Should beat this team on paper, but I think it's going to be close.
