donhaas 18 Posted January 16, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGpajGj07BU&feature=related I'm pretty sure this is how it will play out next Sunday.... Shane Cutler will be playing the role of Johnny Ringo....
listen2me 23 1,873 Posted January 16, 2011 Packers better offensive and defensive team. Bears have the edge in SPT. Packers have won in 2 tougher places to play already this postseason. That is no worry. Shane Cutler will offer even more opportunities for Woodson and company than Matty Ice did.
IMMensaMind 462 Posted January 16, 2011 Where is swampdog claiming that the NFC North is the worst division in football again? This is going to be one of the best NFC Championship games in history. Green Bay looks like it has the eye of the tiger. They're playing so dominantly on offense and defense that I cannot see Chicago surviving it. Green Bay 24, Chicago 17. Brad GLuckman 519 Posted January 16, 2011 Should be a good game. I think most would agree that GB is the better team...however that doesn't always end up in a win. Chicago's defense always seems to give GB problems, so I'm expecting this to be a close one. I will add, I think GB has a much better shot at beating any of the AFC teams than Chicago does. bjsteel 34 Posted January 17, 2011 Chew on this all you Packer backers...the Bears lost in GB 10-3, in a game the Packers had to win to even make the playoffs (Bears had "NOTHING" to gain). How did hall-of-famer Rodgers do in that game??? Now they go to Soldier Field, for a little but more on the line. It's a joke the Bears are givin' no chance in this game by anyone...good for us! The regular season is over and meaningless now. But I can forgive Bears fans for not realizing this, since they just got to play the worst playoff team in recent memory at home. Keep hanging your hat on a seven point loss and telling yourself that the starters weren't trying, and that the game plan was vanilla, and all the rest. If yesterday didn't make it obvious what the Bears were playing for in that game, I don't think anything will.
DrJ 0 Posted January 17, 2011 I wonder if there will be as many Packers fans there as there were Seahawks fans today. Considering ticket prices are going for a year's salary up there plus 2 cattle, I'm expecting it to be pretty orange and blue Sunday.

With the way the Bears crowd noise got to them the first time around, I'd try and write it off as meaningless too. I'd give you a rag so you'll have it to wipe your tears, but I think the refs are stocking up on them for this game and supply may be a little short.

The Moz 69 Posted January 17, 2011 Folks are underestimating Chicago here. Chicago knows Green Bay inside out and I promise you Rodgers won't do to them what he do to Atlanta. I don't see Green Bay winning this one and I also see a low scoring close game. 17-14 Chicago.

I'm not going to be talking trash all week for this one like many of the Pats and Seahawks fans last week. (Or even Bears fans on behalf of Atlanta ) That said, hanging your hat on a regular season win is just silly at this point. Bears fans of all people I would expect to realize this after getting the best of the Seahawks on their second try. The Packers beat the Eagles by 7 at home week 1 and all we heard about was how if Vick played the whole game, the Eagles win. But the Packers went back and did it again with Vick there from the start. The Pats beat the Jets 45-3 just SIX weeks ago at home. But they couldn't get it done yesterday when it mattered. The Falcons beat the Packers 20-17 and we were mocked for saying the Packers should have won the game but for a bad call and a couple of self-inflicted mistakes. But they crushed the Falcons. New Orleans easily handled the Seahawks in week 11 but we know what happened in the playoffs. This should be a good game. The last four games were all decided by 7 points or less. Fanboy bluster aside, I do expect the Packers to win, something in the neighborhood of 21-17, with Aaron Rodgers posting another brilliant game (with decidedly less gaudy numbers than Saturday), and extending his record vs. the Bears to 5-2. But we'll see what happens on Sunday.

How about looking at how Cutler has done overall against the Packers D. As terrible as Shane Cutler's numbers are versus the Pack, they should be even worse.... dropped INTs, INTs brought back my phantom "roughing the Cuntler" penalties.... He is terrible... I mean... he's probably slightly better than Jim Harbaugh, Peter Tom Willis, Will Furrer, Erik Kramer, Steve Walsh, Dave Krieg, Kramer, Rick Mirer, Steve Stenstrom, Moses Moreno, Shane Matthews, Cade McNown, Jim Miller, Chris Chandler, Henry Burris, Kordell Stewart, Rex Grossman, Jonathan Quinn, Craig Krenzel, Chad Hutchinson, Kyle Orton, Brian Griese..... ....but he's still pretty bad

Puddleglum 0 Posted January 17, 2011 How about looking at how Cutler has done overall against the Packers D. The numbers for Cutler in four games against the Packers are: 77/138 56% 875 yards 6.3 yards/attempt 4 TDs 9 Ints, passer rating 57.
DrJ 0 Posted January 17, 2011 Getting a bit full of yourself and the Bears it seems. BTW...Rodgers did better than Cutler did. How about looking at how Cutler has done overall against the Packers D. Sure, outside of the fact that the guy couldn't even get off a clean snap on his goal line, he was terrific. Luckily for them in that particular case, there was no more field to penalize them. Jay Cutler's stats won't matter when there's about 150 penalty yards to pad them.

They actually got much much much better as far as not making those mistakes.
