CapsFan1 0 Posted September 22, 2011 I have the second highest point total in my 12 teamer but am only 1-1 thanks to playing the team with the highest point total in week 1 and him getting Brady's career performance and 25 points out of the Bears defense. Still like my team if I can get some more production out of the RB2 slot. Team is in my signature.

Bryant DST: San Diego/Washington Both my RBs have week 5 byes, but I have Sproles (vs. Car) and Tolbert (vs. Den) that week to take advantage of really soft run Ds. IMMensaMind 462 Posted September 22, 2011 I'm in 3 leagues, and my performance has run the gamut. In the two leagues where I based my draft strategy around Vick (I was stuck with the 7th spot in both), I'm dying. The rosters in those leagues are: The ConVicks R Fitzpatrick M Vick ® J Best R Mendenhall F Jackson ® M Bush ® M Tolbert ® H Nicks S Johnson M Thomas ® N Burleson ® P Harvin ® J Finley J Kasay Chargers Saints ® The ConVicks J Flacco J Kitna ® M Vick ® D McFadden M Tolbert F Jones ® M Bush ® H Nicks S Moss E Decker ® L Moore ® N Burleson ® A Gates D Branch P Harvin ® R Bush ® N Folk Titans ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I just traded Reggie Bush for Dez Bryant in this 2nd league, but i'm 0-2 in the first one, and 1-3 in the second (we play 2 teams each week, which is a format I really like). In the league where I drafted 3rd, things are a bit different: Blounts 'n Fortes 'til Addai M Stafford T Romo ® B Tate R Rice J Stewart ® T Hightower ® H Nicks L Fitzgerald D Moore ® M Thomas ® R Wayne ® J Witten O Daniels ® M Tolbert B Green-Ellis ® J Kasay Cardinals Cowboys ® ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In this league, I'm 4-0, and my bench is putting up large points. The last two league rosters run a FLEX position; the first one does not. The last roster is probably the best Fantasy Football draft I've ever had. Things will even out. I hope. I like all 3 of these squads - I think they will even out. BUT, not sure how you're losing so bad in the first 2. I think you must be starting the wrong guy's each week. I bet you started Best the first week, then Tolbert. You need to fix that problem. and you may not have been starting Stevie. Sometimes a loaded roster = pain and personal anger. hahha Maybe you're D's are letting you down? Or the scoring system is playing a factor. Seems like you're loaded and have been scoring well if using the right guy's. I think you'll be ok. I almost like team 1 the best of the 3.

Seems like you're loaded and have been scoring well if using the right guy's. I think you'll be ok. I almost like team 1 the best of the 3. Good input. I actually traded for Nicks after week one (gave Sproles, M Williams (SEA) and Ben Tate to the Foster owner for Nicks and Branch. I started both Best and Mendenhall both weeks; both Tolbert and Jackson were on my bench scoring big points. Mendenhall hasn't done much - yet. I started Harvin week 1 over Johnson, and I learned my lesson in week 2. My Ds have indeed been killing me; I've been playing D roulette - and badly. I have a great matchup this weekend with my D's at least. With Fitz on my bench on Team #1, my bench was handily outscoring my starters. Vick has only been average. Both teams I've played so far have been in the top three in scoring, I was right under both - so bad luck. Hopefully the ships will right themselves!
KOTN14 0 Posted September 23, 2011 Here's my money team. One I felt very good about coming into the season and has done nothing to make me think otherwise. PPR, all TDs 6 points QB-Big Ben WR-Fitzgerald WR-Dez WR-Britt RB-Rice (keeper) RB-Hillis (keeper) TE-Finley WR/TE-Gronk WR/RB-Meachem K-Kasay Def-Lions Bench Ingram, Bradford, Delone Carter, C.J. Spiller, David Nelson (dropped Brandon Gibson, who I started in place of Dez last week), Roy Helu (dropped Henne for him.) I've got a 35 point advantage on second place. I've got another 2-0 team but I think it's mediocre so won't bother listing it. I also got a 1-1 team that I think is nearly as good as the team above. But I have a good chance of being 1-2 (I face a monster team this week). Anyway, that team is: Eli or Bradford at QB; Wallace, Dez and Stevie Johnson at WR; Lesean and D-Mac at RB; Finley at TE; Tate, Starks, Addai or David Nelson in the flex; Lions D; Akers K. Obviously, QB is an issue I'm trying to address.

All I'm going to say is, "Blounts n Fortes til Addai" is the greatest fantasy team name of all-time. Only one close is a dude in a baseball league last year who's team was "I'm not Slowey, I'm just Bedarded" ... There is a radio show in Cleveland who has a fantasy league going with listeners, there are a couple good ones there .... "Plaxidental shooting" and "Big Ben's Prom Date," the last one is kind of simple, but still makes me ROFL when I hear it. Sorry I didn't add anything to this conversation.
