Yup. 15 bucks and it cures night sweats, mild tinnitus, neighbor dog barking, over the covers flatulence, provides cover for mommy and daddy alone time, saves electricity (run A/C less), AND makes easy robot voices to scare off intruders. Of course it was the highest one in the house (about 15 ft), so I had to wait until it woke my son up so he could hold the ladder. Plugging the new battery in caused even louder chirping initially, which woke my wife and one of my daughters. Why do those batteries always go out in the middle of the focking night. I would assume the battery would only drain if you lose power which would make chirping very rare. It's a valid assumption, I see little reason to be a tool about it. I went through a rampage back in the day ripping them down in my old apartment with 15' ceilings one awful night... Know the pain... I have a carbon monoxide sensor in my place that you can't turn off to move, once removed from a plug it goes off until replugged and enough time to recalibrate itself... Some people I know can't fall asleep unless they have some form of white noise in the background. Myself, I like to fall asleep with the TV on, but at a lower volume level than I would normally play it versus watching it. My top 3 TV stations to that I leave on when attempting sleep: Fox (usually it's either Greta or "The Five" on when I pass out) MSNBC (Prolly either the end of that Maddow dudes show or The Ed Show) Comcast digital music channels (Whichever one reminds me of OldMaid at the time) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
