Old Maid - She'll be the "morale officer." Her duties would be overseeing the "train system."

 

If I can have a seventh (eighth including myself), I'll take Naomi. She can assist OM in her duties, and also be chaplain.

I just did the Chicago marathon on the 7th, how much you up to now?

Keep in mind that I took off about three months or more after my medical issue last November. It took me a while to get back into it.

 

With that said, I've been working more on speed rather than distance and PR'd last month in a 5k at 28:05.

 

I have a 10k on Turkey Day, a relay in the CA International Marathon (4th leg, which is around 6 miles), and I have a half scheduled in January. I will also be doing a half in March and my first full marathon December 2013.

 

Easing back into it, I suppose. My long runs on the weekends are up to about 9 miles.

 

Took me a while to gain the confidence to get back out there and I was very depressed for a while and had no motivation to bother to try. But...I'm back!!! :-)
