FlaHawker 24 Posted May 5, 2013 what do the intelligent Hawks fans expect from Harvin this year, fantasy wise? 5000 all-purpose yards, 50 TDs. If you can't figure it out on your own, you're a lost cause...but then again, I read your predictions from last year. Yup, you are a lost cause.

WhiteWonder 2,682 Posted May 6, 2013 You're lost: Losers belong here you're so cute when you try hard. back to the ? at hand. I'm curious if the intelligent Hawks fans expect Harvin to be used in similar ways as he was in Minny. Taking some handoffs out of the backfield, some return game work... He's got to stay healthy but I would expect an uptick in production with Wilson instead of Ponder.
phillybear 366 Posted May 6, 2013 Pete Carroll has given all hawks fans the same kool aid What the fock? Sh!t, man, we spend more time fighting each other than fans of other teams. How exactly are we all drinking the same kool aid? I over analyze and obsess over practically every decision the front office and coaching staff makes; I'm a Negative Nancy. You think Wilson is an upgrade from Ponder? Wow! Who wouldathunkit! Let's see how will the Hawks use Harvin? Handoffs? Um yea, duh! Return work? Um yea, duh! Does Harvin have to stay healthy for an uptick in producion? Well, yea, duh! Keep the moon landing topics coming!
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted May 6, 2013 If Percy stays healthy and plays 16 games, well he already knows the offense and the OC. He's already building chemistry with Wilson. I'll say 1,200 receiving, 250 rushing, 8 rec Td's, 2 ru TD's, 1 punt return TD.

WhiteWonder 2,682 Posted May 7, 2013 I was just thinking that. Probably won't even crack 100. this was kind of my reason for asking. In Minny, it seems Harvin was asked to do more to spark some offense. Ponder sucks, and at the start of the season I know they eased ADP back in carries wise. Plus there was no good #2 WR. but now in Seattle i doubt he'd be asked to rush the ball as much. a lot of times as explosive WR/KR's blossom in the passing game they stop returning kicks and punts. why risk the injury? I wonder if he will continue to do so.

Groundhog 24 Posted May 7, 2013 what do the intelligent Hawks fans expect from Harvin this year, fantasy wise? The value of Percy is it frees up space for lynch. Defenses will not be able to put eight in the box with Percy around. By the same reasoning, it does not make sense to run Percy out of the backfield. All that does is allow the defense to sag in the middle. They used him like that in minnesota because they could not trust ponder to make the deep throw. Bottom line, this is still a run-heavy offense. I see Percy with something like 65-1050-6.

KTL 0 Posted May 7, 2013 Bottom line, this is still a run-heavy offense. I see Percy with something like 65-1050-6. I agree. He will be highly overdrafted after being good value the last couple years. Wilson will spread the ball around more than Ponder.
Hawkfin 32 Posted May 7, 2013 what do the intelligent Hawks fans expect from Harvin this year, fantasy wise? [/quote hmmmmm, I think Harvin does more for the team then put up stud F.F. numbers. But, If I take a guess at the numbers I'll say this: Kick return game - 3-4 TD's and among the top of the leader board in yardage. If this counts for you, then he is a stud type player in F.F. Rushing - 35 carries, 180 yards, 3 TD's. Lots of gadgets. Recieving - 75 catches, 1080 yards, 9 TD's. (Leads the team though) BUT, it could be less, it could be more. He's really a wildcard. With Wilson the sky is the limit, but with our running game and all the options we have, he could also be more average and just help the team in many ways. I think Wilson is a QB like Brees, that will spread it around also. But, we'll have plans and catches for Harvin for sure. -His low is 800 yards and 6 TD's, 1 rush I think. -His high could be anywhere. Sky is the limit as he's real exiting player in how he could be used and with a good accurate QB. I'd say early 3rd rounder is a good place in PPR. Desperate folks will take him in the 2nd. If you get him after the 3rd, you stole him IMO. (Risk/Reward pick)

FlaHawker 24 Posted May 11, 2013 Looks like a few of the rookies who were downgraded by our draft gurus stepped up on day one of Rookie Minicamps: Anyway, enough about that. As for the draft picks, rookie free agents and tryout players who were actually on the field Friday afternoon, few, if any, stood out more than fifth-round pick Luke Willson, who looked every bit like the athletic tight end the Seahawks were talking about when the drafted him last month. Now granted, he was going against fellow rookies, many of whom won't be in the NFL this year, but still, Willson showed good hands and some serious speed for a 252-pound man."He jumped out today," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said, going on to call Willson's play, "Probably the brightest spot," of the practice. Also making a good first impression on Carroll were running back Christine Michael, who Carroll called, "very quick, very quick, very sudden," fullback/running back Spencer Ware, and tackle Michael Bowie." Go Luke Willson!
Kopy 559 Posted May 11, 2013 Looks like a few of the rookies who were downgraded by our draft gurus stepped up on day one of Rookie Minicamps: Go Luke Willson! Michael should look good. His talent was and is never/not the issue with him. It's his .10 cent head and not his million dollar skills that I have the problem with. And as far as Wilson goes. I've been very vocal about wanting another TE. So I'd love it if this kid can make it. Any good fortune that goes the Seahawks way, far out ways me eating some crow. But I just wouldn't be surprised if he was more of a practice squad, eventual cut kid. More than an eventual on the field contributer.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted May 11, 2013 That name makes me cringe. He was truly terrible. i find it helps to think about what happened in the 2nd round of the 2010 draft whenever Curry enters your head. That kind of helps. Also, it would be awesome if Luke Wilson outperformed his teammate at Rice, Vance McDonald. I'm sure you guys have read about the Niners moving up to draft him ahead of us. But I agree, when the spark is needed, they could trot him out there. as someone else said, I expect Wilson to spread the ball more than Ponder was ever able to do. just trying to gauge if that would be offset by simply being on a better team with a more productive offense. 3 less targets per game may not matter of he's able to do more with the targets he does get.
