I probably would vote for all of those with the exception of Huckabee, I also do not like Chris Christi and would vote for a few democrats over him.

MTSkiBum 1,625 Posted October 15, 2015 I only saw the closing statements. imo, Hillarys was by far the best. Seriously My issue with the debates is that it helps the candidates that are quick witted and good speakers. Just because someone is a good speaker does not mean they are a good leader or make good decisions.

I dunno
MTSkiBum 1,625 Posted October 15, 2015 True, but if you can't debate for sh1t would you be a good world leader? I dunno Screw being a world leader. We need someone that can lower the debt without causing economic slowdown. The fundamentals for running a government should be a solid understanding of world economy. Speaking skills are nice, but not truly necessary. The debates starting over a year before the election have turned how we elect the president into a reality TV contest. SUXBNME 1,564 Posted October 15, 2015 She had a very good night all-around. And I'm not a supporter Like I said, I only saw the closing statements. Still, I heard some things from some of the other candidates closing statements that chilled me to the bone. Is blatant pandering for minority votes really that prevalent for the Dems still? I have to admit that Hillary did seem the most "Presidential" from what little I saw.
BunnysBastatrds 2,511 Posted October 15, 2015 Hands up for all that consider themselves a democrat after watching that debate and considering anyone of those Fawking fools running our country and making us better. What a joke.

IGotWorms 4,060 Posted October 15, 2015 Same thing could be said for the clown show that was the Republican debates. There was a focking hell of a lot more substance in the democratic debate than the republican ones so far. Maybe because there are fewer candidates and no Trump sucking all the air out of the room, but probably because the republicans haven't had a focking idea in about ten years now. It's in your DNA if she's the candidate. And you know it. No way you vote for an R. You're one of the biggest progressives on here. And that's cool. So don't pretend to not be. Don't trust her, think she's a phony, and I don't want another Clinton in the White House on principle. Bill was a good president but we can find some other family in this nation of 300 million. That said, I can't see how I'd ever vote for a guy like Cruz or Carson or Trump. I like Rubio and Kasich but Rubio may be a puppet. So there's a decent chance I will hold my nose and vote for Hillary in the general election, but this here's the primary season and the topic of the thread concerns the democratic primary
BiPolarBear 494 Posted October 15, 2015 Far better debate moderated and participated in by sane participants. Hilary was the winner, but when I voted for the winner on the Drudge poll, I voted for Bernie. Then when I checked the "view result" button, I found out I wasn't alone. I think Drudge took down the results, but it was something like 56% Bernie and 25% Webb with the rest splitting single digits. Nobody trust Hillary.
Mungwater 597 Posted October 15, 2015 Sad that the system has gotten so messed up that the real leaders of the country don't want anything to do with the job. Sad state of affairs of these are our choices
lickin_starfish 1,957 Posted October 15, 2015 Hillary is a known liar and cheat. What does it say about someone who would vote for her? Do ethics and morals mean nothing any more? She was the most well-spoken candidate during the debate, however. Bernie Sanders message to lift up the "little guy" at the expense of rich people will resonate well with voters. I think he came across as geniune in his convictions. He is waaay-nutso on two things though: 1) Global Warming is the greatest national security theat (Whaaaat? Who the fock thinks that makes sense?) 2) Black Lives Matter instead of all lives matter (Whaaat? Who the fock thinks that makes sense?) Jim Webb was the best candidate as far as foreign policy, but he is not a good public speaker. The last two shlubs should have stayed home.
TimmySmith 2,783 Posted October 15, 2015 Our greatest real national security threat is China, only Jim Webb had the balls to say it. "Black lives matter"? Does main stream America care? Are blacks suddenly going to vote republican? Nothing real about the economy, nothing real about immigration. Seriously these people are a bunch a wimps. Hillary lying about her childhood, O'Malley lying about everything. Jim Webb was the only palatable person on the stage.
MDC 7,590 Posted October 15, 2015 The debate was so depressing I had to stop after 30 mins. The GOP debate at least has the clown car / freak show factor to keep you entertained. This one has Her Majesty, a cranky old liberal and a bunch of milquetoasts. In a field with only 5 candidates I don't know why nobody on that stage went hard after Hillary. She is strongly perceived as the inevitable candidate and they let her stand there and play that role all night. Jim Webb would be my man on policy but he came off terrible. And Lincoln Chaffee looks like a pedo. Just awful.
