Geek Spermoff commentary

Recommended Posts

Would not wish cancer on anyone. Also would not advertise it on fftoday. I get fundraising for causes of kids afflicted with crap they don't deserve. I'll shut up now before I put my foot deeper into my mouth.

Your foot is so deep it is making your rectum quack

I think the disconnect is that you don't really post in many sports related threads. If it's not fantasy football I don't recall you posting. Golf? No. NBA? Rarely. NFL? Some. MLB? No. NHL? No.

You think those picks suck because your sports world is 90% fantasy football only.

Some of us have much different experiences with Geeks on this bored.

I'm just saying...

These categories are just flawed. Sports? Heart? Hilarity? Being funny should count for all geeks drafted. Everyone is drafting people for 1 category and saying "Hey they could be good at lots of categories!". The categories should be more distinct, stuff like that clearly not everyone qualifies for. Even Vagina should be limited to actual females. And then if a person are a funny/good/helpful/prolific/whatever poster, that should make them a good pick regardless of what category they were at.

Better luck next time!

Well sure, this was thrown together pretty quickly as something fun to do. You could do this in a thousand different ways. But I think it's worked out pretty well and has been fun (speaking for myself). If I was to do it again I'd prolly change a few things but like I said..... we just winged it.

Sux - how can you possibly label me as geek ahole?

I've had 3 female posters here tell me youve sent them unsolicited cack pics.

Does that work for you? You send a random cack pic to a 20 something and then you guys agree to meet up for sexy times?

:dunno:

And I'm the ahole?

No you haven't

ETA: I frafted you as vagina, not assshole

In his defense Commish listed your 7th round pick as asshole and not vagina on the big board.

I'm sure it was an easy mixup.

Your mulligan only changes positions/categories. You can't swap out a Geek.

Some runningbacks are pretty good at catching passes but they are still a better fit at the RB position than the WR or TE position....

KSB is really dominating this draft. When he grabbed me, he grabbed the Justin Timberlake of this message board.

Whereas JT is solid musically (obviously), in film (see Black Dog), with comedy (a top 5 SNL host), sports (4.2 golf handicap), and chicks (prime Britney, Biel, Wilde, Munn, Milano, etc).........I score well enough to serve as a flex in all categories of this draft except politics. And really, that's only because I'm too logical to have an opinion loud enough to get attention, so I usually don't. But as far as the other categories:

  • Sports - As KSB stated, I own this message board in terms of fantasy sports. Not to mention all my great opinions on Deflategate, and that I have shot in the 70's on easy golf courses.
  • Hilarity - I was the poster that discovered the Deadspin story about Apu, Phil, and MJ and brought it to this board. I was also the poster that discovered the Asiana Pilots Named story and brought it to this board. Those are two of the best 10 things to ever happen.
  • Assshole - I'm so good at playing the assshole that an entire ff league wants me dead in spite of immense admiration
  • Vagina - I brought Tinder to this board, and I did so before it was well known in the mainstream. If you'd followed my lead, you had a free run at unlimited vagina in an uncrowded market for about a year before everyone else caught on.
  • Brain - I'm much too humble to brag about my 140+ IQ and quick wit here.
  • Heart - In spite of my Assshole credentials, anyone that has dealt with me in private would probably call me the nicest geek alive.
  • Flex - See above. I'm the perfect flex.

Most of the All-Time Greats bring more than one category. I was thrilled you were available when you were. And also, if cbfalcon is the JT of the Geek Bored then that makes edjr the Joey Fatone.

Picking Swerski for hilarity, meh, I suppose;

I just read this.

You sir are out of your ever loving mind. Swerski was one of the funniest posters, ever. And an @sshole to boot.

1. Sports (geeks notorious for sports talk)

2. Politics (geeks notorious for politics)

3. Hilarity (tall tales, jokes, epic thread, just bringing the funny)

4. Asshole (infamous d-bags, raging a-holes, stupidity, politically incorrect, etc.)

5. Vagina (geekettes or geek pussies)

6. Brain (geeks you actually learn stuff from, witty, smart)

7. Heart (the nice guys or gals)

8. Flex (a second pick from any other position)

1. Mongo. He can't shut up about Clemson

2. Torrid. There is no other choice.

3. Swerski.

4. Mephisto. Legendary ######.

5. Carrie

6. CMT

7. Rodney. And not just because I still feel bad about the Chickenfoot debacle.

8. SD Jones for hilarity #2 or ###### #2. Also Gutter for either. Interchangeable.

I already won this draft.

I always thought JiM was a Swerski alias because Swerski lived in range of WFAN.

Geeks I would have thought would have been drafted and were snubbed. The Geek NIT if you will. :)

Brinett9 - I cannot believe he went undrafted. I was trying to think of ways to move him into the Hilarity spot all draft but couldn't do it and used up that spot in round one. Maybe the wittiest mofo ever here.

Others:

RLLD

Patsfatboy

Vikings4Ever

Megla - I thought he'd go in the sports or heart category

WhiteWonder - in sports

ShoNuff

Strike

Me2006

Addict

Carrie

Surferskin

30fbt

I'm sure there are others, bottom line is more people have posted here than I thought.
