I'm diggen the womans title match, and the Jericho/Styles match. But yeah, a pretty meh card. Supposedly they've sold over 80,000 tickets so far. Usually (wrestling geek knowledge here), Vince usually inflates attendance by 10,000. So I do think they're gonna try saying they hit the 100,000 mark. I'll definitely call bullsh1t on that. But yes they will break the wrestlemania attendance record.

The state of Texas, has always been a really great wrestling territory. Dating back to the funks and the Von Erichs running their own companies. The fans are still pretty top notch. Just wish they were subjected to a better card though.

One of the big problems with the card is that there's a lot of star power injured.

Cena, Orton, and Rollins are all main event guys on the shelf. Daniel Bryan could be counted as well, but he's completely done.

Then you've got solid contributors like Cesaro, Kidd, Neville, and (apparently) Bray Wyatt.

And they likely had plans for Sting too, but he's completely done as well.

When I first got out of the army, the first job I had was building homes as a project manager. I got a custom order sheet and the countertops were not the standard 36" but 48. I called the office to confirm, and they just said "you'll understand when you see this guy.."

Come to find out it was the undertaker. Real nice guy for the hour or so I spent with him. He was also the one guy that when he called for warranty, always made sure it was right. Didn't feel like getting thrown through a wall.

I guess Neville broke his ankle and a shin bone.

definitely the ankle, but with those boots on, it could have been a mess, who knows.

he handled it like a pro and kept fighting on.

up and coming star, for sure.

I like him. Not sure on his WWE prospects though. Seems like Vince still doesn't know how to use and push the smaller guys. One would've thought he'd figure it out by now.

CTE

Too many concussions. some Doctors cleared him, but WWE Dr would not.

Was sad to see it, but I didn't really like him and I hate him for being married to a Nikki Bella

Nikki's got implants, Brie doesn't.

That's actually kind of funny you mention that. That's how I tell them apart when they're together.

i dont watch wwf. yeah i said wwf.

but i miss its last peak in the rock/HHH/stone cold, DX, mick foley days... the start of y2J, Kane with the mask, vince as a legit wrestling figure, the hardys, ... christian? whichever one was talented and made it out of that weird satanic trio. no no not christian, it was Edge.

basically before wwf and wcw became 1 and they started having weird drafts for the two sections. it all went downhill from there.

  I no longer watch and have not watched for many years. I lost my cable when CM Punk first came on the seen. I still keep track though and watch some of the pay per view matches once in a while.

I did see this clip you are talking about, Jericho did good and the ref focked it all up.

That is pretty cool. I use to watch the Undertaker when he was Mean Mark, when I was a kid. Went to many live shows in Evansville Indiana.

Here is a video of them, long before he was the Undertaker, very young. When Lawyer pulled his strap down from his tights, he was unstoppable. :overhead:

They do too much stupid shtt with the little guys. Like Rey Mysterio beating the Big Show. Beyond stupid.

Worst Wrestlemania ever.

This crap with Roman Reigns is NUTS. They are desperate to put this creep over. It is so bad, they are pipping in cheers trying to cover up the boos from the crowd at live events. They been trying to push him for well over a year and he BLOWS and most fans hate him.

Now, he is set to win the title from HHH. I read a rumor earlier that Vince is freaking out about it this so much, he might change the main event at Wrestlemania. Not to change the match, but to make the Dean Ambrose vs Brook Lesnar the main event over the WWE title match because they are worried the crowd boos will ruin his moment after he wins the title from HHH.

I have a warped sense of connection with WWF/WWE. I like it as a kid. I went to matches when I was a kid to see Snuka and Pedro Morales and some of the guys from back then.

I appreciate the entertainment value. I work with a guy who was a jobber for a bit and still talks to some of these guys.

I was flipping through channels last night and my 12 yo son saw Reigns on the Mike. He was not impressed. So, I pulled up some old video of the Rock and Stone Cold on YouTube. He got it.

The guys now lack charisma. They have athleticism, but they aren't showmen. I don't really care as it won't affect me either way

Accurate, that was the last peak and it was fantastic drama. The Rock and Stone cold at their peak were the 2 best draws in the business. They will never recapture that magic. The goofy characters, the sex driven themes and exploitation of the women, it was all brilliant.

90% of the promos are written for them. Nothing seems to be real or genuine emotion. You feel like your are actually watching them remember their lines.

Still love the Undertaker but DAM he's way past his prime. Time for WWE to give it up. Their days of fame have honestly passed. I believe the height of them was 80s and 90s. It's gone downhill from then.

Greatest debut EVER

That was pure classic. Still love it.

Another great 1 was the Jay Lethal impersonation of Ric Flair in TNA. The whoooo off was awesome.
