Just last week I said that if Trump were ever accused of something that he wasn't at fault for, then I'd defend him. Wouldn't you know the week isn't even out and here I am, I hadn't expected to be called in so early.

 

This is a non-issue. Like last time the campaign manager laid hands on somebody, he was just doing something that any hired hand security guy would be expected to do. The only bit I have a problem with is the "I never touched her" thing. That's not true, he obviously touched her. But he didn't do anything ... other than something that falls into the normal bounds of security.

 

On the rats ass scale... this registers a full 10 as opposed to the important scale where it's a zero.

Trumps team then lied and dragged her name thru the press and he made ridiculous claims like her pen could have been a bomb.

As far as Landowski "lying" about having never touched her...it's conceivable he didn't know he knew (of) her and had seen her around, much less shooed her off Trump. The way "lying" is being thrown around by the general public, on both sides, is way too black and white. The only thing that makes me think he did know of her is her familiar way of referring to him in that transcript with her colleague "was that Corey?" and she was a Breitbart reporter. If she's fairly knowledgeable of him, chances are it's mutual. Campaign managers are usually very familiar with members of the press.
