Just heard it on the radio, he has it up for auction and is calling it a piece of American history...

i wish he'd know how to lay low, the less we hear about this ass the better.

Punk with a gun. Simple as that. Ran his mouth and when it got tough he shot a kid and killed him. Nothing more than that. Couldn't hang.

By the law he did "defend" himself and he had the right to do so. That doesn't make him some hero. Dude has shown to be an idiot with how he's acted after the incident.

He had a right to question someone about where they were going? Since when? I thought that was the cops job? Did he get deputized or something?

I must have missed the part where BLS called him a 'hero'

Don't recall saying he was a hero.

I agree some of his behavior post-incident has been pretty stupid; although ironically much of what he was accused of doing was always refuted or recanted.

Are you saying it's against the law for me to walk up to you on a street and ask you 'hey buddy, where ya going?"

It makes it more dramatic if they can make sh1t up during their argument.

It isn't against the law, and the appropriate response is "none of your business.."

Nope. And I don't have to answer you. But if you get in my space or persist then I have a right to defend myself. Try it out sometime on a guy twice your size, but do it without a gun. He called dispatch. That's where his role in this ends. He's never so bold if he's not armed. I guess the Martin kid didnt have the right to feel threatened.

And by the way, that Puzzy Obama and his toothless justice dept didn't even try to prosecute this Zimmerman freak. I guess he didn't want to start trouble in a swing state before re-election. But he's very involved when it comes to where someone goes to the bathroom.

And how was the incident a federal crime in any way shape or form?

Agreed. If you walked up on me and asked me, I'd give ya the cold shoulder too.

My point was, it's not illegal.

Good luck using that as your defense for use of lethal force.

You tell me. How are any of them? The Feds have never stepped in after a state has failed to prosecute a murder? You're from down south, any cases ring a bell?

Wow. The guy using lethal force had the gun. The guy defending himself had his fists.

Can't blame the guy - it's a quick way to make cash and I'm sure he can't hold a job given his situation.

He'll probably auction the shoes he wore at the killing next.

So, you're a 15 year old kid and some weirdo, not wearing a uniform, starts badgering you and following you and getting in your space and you think he can't tell this guy to get away from him? And when he doesn't he should do what? I would have kicked his ass too

You don't think fists (let's just go with 'unarmed') can be lethal?

How do you think Zimmerman was acquitted? Lethal force can only be used when being threatened with, or having lethal force applied to you.

There's a reason the police didn't arrest him the night of the incident. He had numerous lacerations to his the back of skull where Trayvon Martin had repeatedly smashed his head onto a concrete sidewalk.

First, he was 17, not 15.

You have every right to tell the guy to leave you alone, fock off, beat it homo! Whatever you want.

If you feel threatened, you're supposed to call the police, remember? Not take matters into your own hands.

However, if Trayvon WAS attacked by Zimmerman, then YES...he would have EVERY right to defend himself, and I if that were the case, I'd hope he'd kick his a$$ for it.

However, the evidence and testimony of the case don't wash out the way you want it to.

Define started? Was Trayvon justified in using lethal force against Zimmerman?

Because if he was, then I'd say Zimmerman should be in jail.

Oh please. Really? Zimmerman was a wannabe Charlie Bronson and chased Martin down, despite the police telling him not to. They get into a fight and Zimmerman shoots the kid. Whoever started the fight, Zimmerman instigated the whole thing.

Why didn't Zimmerman just "call the police?" Oh yeah, he did. Then what? It's on Treyvon to stand down, but not the freak?

A fat middle aged Mexican chased down a 17 year old black kid? Some NFL team should sign that focker.

Impossible to know ... we only have Zimmerman's account of events. Given how much of a POS he has turned out to be, it seems pretty likely he lied about the whole thing.

So you're speculating by using your own feewins? As opposed to the evidence, testimony and logic?

Look, I'm not saying Zimmerman wasn't dumb/being a fuckwit. I'm just saying being dumb doesn't give you the right to bounce someone's head off a concrete sidewalk.

Yeah, tell your kids that if some freak starts following them for no reason, that they should wait until he hits them or pulls out a weapon before they do anything. Just like you would. I'll tell my kids something different. But I guess you will have a mmqb answer for that, not taking into account what's going through a kids mind at the moment. Things like fear and uncertainty.

There isn't any evidence of how the altercation started, except Zimmerman's testimony. Witness accounts are contradictory.

It seems likely that he came up to the kid, grabbed his arm, then got smoked in the face, they fell, he hit his head, freaked out and shot the kid.

If he had just gone the fock home instead of being Mr. Vigilante, or at least waited for the police to arrive (as he was instructed to do), none of it would have happened.
