Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted July 18, 2016 I have watched the first two episodes. For what the show does I thought it may be cheesier. I like it so far. And my reaction is similar: it's interesting and entertaining enough that I'll watch it, but I wouldn't quite call it great. Â This one is a bit darker than Wayward Pines but that's network vs. Netflix. Â If you guys are looking for a great series like this I'd suggest Les Revenants (The Returned). Â The returned was pretty good but also thought it had a somewhat stupid end to the first season...not even sure if season 2 every came out though? Â D&D, AV Club, Ham Radios.....right up your respective alleys. Â Critique and SPOILER ALERT!! Below: Â Â My biggest criticism is the stupidly of the teen slut in training. Â You're in the middle of the woods, at night and just witnessed a half dead deer being snatched away into oblivion at the speed of light. You happen upon a tree that seems to be glowing from a giant hole in it's trunk. Further inspection reveals said hole to be dripping with some sort of cosmic goo. Â What's the first thing you would do? Â A. Run for your life B. Get help from the dumbass kid that left you to wander by yourself? C.
