Mr Neil 63 Posted September 28, 2016 This A Hole has cost me two wins. Anyone think that he is just a decoy on a mid range snap count as they are 3-1 and awaiting Brady to come back next week. I think they give him one more light week this week than unleash him and Brady for the back 3/4th of the season. I'm about 80% that I'm gonna start someone over him. You can never trust what comes outta NE either so it's pretty much a gut call

You can never trust what comes outta NE either so it's pretty much a gut call The Pats are 3-0. If he's cost you two wins that's bad management as he was pronounced Out the first 2 weeks in plenty of time to plug in a replacement. If Jimmy G is at QB & Gronk is playing, I think I'd play him. It depends on who your backup is & what they say about Gronk closer to game time.
weepaws 2,469 Posted September 28, 2016 Don't understand how he cost you any wins. Maybe you just over paid for a Te. But since he's been listed as out and if you then played him look in a mirror
Mr Neil 63 Posted September 29, 2016 He cost me because I drafted him in the first round and had to use Clive Walford in week 1 vs saints for 4 pts and Jesse James in week for 2 pts. Deep league with not a lot of TE replacements and didn't draft a TE2 bc I had Gronk
weepaws 2,469 Posted September 29, 2016 Just think if you had started James week one and Walford week two.
brotherbock 349 Posted September 29, 2016 Just think if you had started James week one and Walford week two. Stop trying to confuse things with stats. Gronk to blame. Bad Gronk.
IGotWorms 3,325 Posted September 29, 2016 I'd sit him another week if I had him
ROCKFORD 134 Posted September 29, 2016 rolling with him over clive.

Captain Goomy Noomy Roo 47 Posted September 29, 2016 Gronk plays for real = Gronk plays for my team = Time to start getting payment for that high pick. #IknewIschouldntvereachedforgronk
Thornton Melon 544 Posted September 29, 2016 I think the best you can expect from Gronk this week is a goalline TD. I'm thinking maybe 3-20-1 for him this week. Just hope for the "1", though. Personally, I'd start someone halfway decent over him for one more week.
brotherbock 349 Posted September 29, 2016 Don't understand why Mr. Neil had to explain this, getting Zero from your first round pick = Loss. Simple If you're playing a guy you knew was injured, sure. You'll likely lose. If you started another player while he was injured, you still might have had a good chance at winning. Should I say Brady cost me three games so far because I've had him in my starting lineup?
weepaws 2,469 Posted September 29, 2016 And if you draft Te in the first round welllll there you go.
Tuxedosam 4 Posted September 29, 2016 Would you play Pitta over Gronk this week? I might just bench Gronk one more week
weepaws 2,469 Posted September 30, 2016 Like Pitta this week. Patriots don't seem to have a Qb yet for this weekend

PunkRockRedneck 8 Posted September 30, 2016 I just traded for Gronk but I'm thinking of going with Tamme this week. After this week, Gronk is locked in lol

weepaws 2,469 Posted September 30, 2016 Yea I would agree , give it one more week and then Brady returns and all should be good for Gronk.
Mr Neil 63 Posted September 30, 2016 I'm going full retard and starting Cameron Brate over Gronk. Just can't see him getting anything but a hopeful red zone TD and 30 yds maybe. If Blount doesn't vulture that
libertynugget 9 Posted September 30, 2016 Not starting Gronk til there is a Brady under center. Rolling with Hunter Henry this week instead.
GornFishin' 57 Posted October 1, 2016 Terrible draft management by you. It was well known by anyone that could read that Gronk would miss 2-3 weeks at the start of the season. And you're blaming the player because you didn't draft a backup and your streamers blew in those weeks. Seriously.

And you're blaming the player because you didn't draft a backup and your streamers blew in those weeks. Seriously. if one can lock down a position, 1.12, with one pick, that adds huuuuuge value (i.e. cam, rogers) to one's team. everything is a gamble in todays nfl, why not roll on this one? Because it was never going to lock down the position for the full season. He was missing the first 2-3 games. I haven't blamed L Bell for my loss by that team. Phil Simms 11 127 Posted October 2, 2016 Just wait until Brady is back next week. If Gronk was able to go this week you should feel great about next week.
