Not really...national polling was pretty accurate to the overall vote. State polls not so much.

You are right. Thank God for the Electoral College.

More people are killed in this country by toddlers with guns (10 year avg is 21/year) than by foreign born Muslim terrorists (9/year).

So, just another case of the left lying and their lemmings repeating it. You would think they would notice at some point

It depends on how the questions are asked of course.

The majority of Americans disapprove of a ban on religion-based ban however that's not what the E.O. says.

The majority of Americans support ban on immigration from nations from terror prone regions.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/will-trumps-refugee-ban-have-public-support/

Of course here's the version being fed to America from CNN.

"Fifty-five percent say they see it as an attempt to ban Muslims from entering the US. Further, 6 in 10 oppose Trump's plan to build a wall along the border with Mexico."

http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/03/politics/donald-trump-travel-ban-poll/

First poll...wasn't about the actual EO. And even then just a slight majority. Look at #2 in that link where people oppose it being muslims. Given the basic loophole that minority religions would have a way in. That poll more reflects then EO. But again that was before the EO was even known.

It also showed people don't want to quit accepting Syrian refugees.

The second you call fed to Americans was done after the EO. I'd love to see more polling on it as well as Americans support of the judiciary and Trumps handling of judges.

I bet that number goes up though. Now that Trump is throwing gas on the fire and giving ISIS more recruiting material. MAGA

Always interested in right wing paranoia. Why don't you educate us. You have to realize, we don't hang out on infowars and Brietbart all day.

The E.O. wasn't a ban on Muslims but on people from seven Terror-Prone countries and when worded that way, it has majority support as that first poll suggests.

"In a Quinnipiac University poll conducted in January, 48 percent of voters supported “suspending immigration from ‘terror prone’ regions, even if it means turning away refugees from those regions.” Forty-two percent were opposed."

And as far as Trump's handling of the judges, while I admit it was a bad move I guess you missed the video I posted of Obama doing likewise. I'm sure you'll gloss over that or deflect instead of calling a spade a spade like I just did with Trump.

I don't care. I'd rather look up Captain & Tennille song lyrics than right wing paranoia articles. You've mentioned it a bunch of times jumping up and down for recognition. I just thought I'd finally give you some attention.

This is not meant to be partisan but I'm starting to wonder if this just isn't a way for him to stay in the news cycle constantly to almost bait the left into melting down over everything.

So as a Republican I watch liberals meltdown and I say to myself that's exactly why we voted you out. And I'll be sure to vote accordingly the next time. I'm sure others look at it the same way.

I mean at the end of all this what is the Democrats end game here? Are you going to run on a platform of his tweets? Because right now the loudest voices you have in the Democratic party are Al Franken and Elizabeth Warren. I'm sorry but that's not going to get you guys anywhere.

Libs meltdown after decisions that go against what they stand for. The Nordstrom, CNN, Tweets do not make anyone meltdown. That's like a comedy show. His paranoia and general personality is hilarious. The thing that makes people meltdown is that a child has the power to make actual changes. Temporary ones, but changes nonetheless.

Perception, perception, perception. Trump is trying to change American's perception of "things" to get the "things" he wants done.

No but it keeps it in the news cycle. It does affect nordstrom stock which dropped after that announcement. And it does to an extent make the left meltdown that he's being what they feel is Petty. Which he is I'm not denying that. But it's almost one of these crazy like a fox type things.

It just doesn't really give the left a lot to chew on for a campaign though. This is basically what Hillary tried. I just think he's going to keep the liberal so busy chasing around tweets and silly Petty arguments that they won't even focus on the issues. I dunno.

It all goes in cycles. Bottom line is, if he can somehow do something about terrorism, come up with a better healthcare plan, and keep the economy from tanking, he has a shot at a second term. His base won't leave him no matter what. There could be a massive terrorist attack at the Rose Bowl, killing 100,000 and ISIS could make an announcement that it's entirely because of something Trump did and he wouldn't lose a supporter. And he could totally wipe out ISIS and have the economy humming and his haters won't budge. But there's a humongous amount of people somewhere in the middle that decide things. If he's a disaster, not only is he in trouble, the mid terms could be a disaster for Republicans. Then everything he's done in two years goes away. The retarded, childish Tweets are ultimately irrelevant. But they are great entertainment.

I agree with everything you said. I guess the only thing I would caution the left on is chasing down all the trumps arguments didn't work with Hillary.

And he's so outrageous that it's tough to get away from Chase and all of them to actually talk about the issues. Especially when the media won't stop talking about it.

Except with loopholes for other religions...it was in effect a Muslim an from those countries.

Add in the first bogus excuse that he had to do it fast to prevent bad people...now he has backtracked saying he wanted to wait a month.

The video from the state of the Union? Ive seen it...Obama did not question the legitimacy of a judge. He questioned the decision made by the court and did so with some actual respect.

The problem is you all take any criticism as melting down. Never before has a president thrown tantrums like this or acted in this manner. And instead of calling him out for it...the right (well...most of them) simply make excuses or whine about Hillary and Obama.

What issues would you like to discuss?

Him battling the media and the judiciary are issues.

Some of his antic may have been to distract from his position on Dodd-Frank which should have been discussed more.

Now possible tax reform coming?

I personally typically get upset and I'm not even sure upset is the right word maybe annoyed. And that only occurs when I think the left is suddenly now outraged about something they ignored for eight years.

So for me it's not so much I'm defending Trump as it is I'm bothered by The hypocrisy.

Like Russia. You can't really sit there and tell me that Obama didn't basically ignore Russia and the problems we were having. Which is fine if that's the stance they want to have. I just find it disingenuous that only since November the left thinks Russia is the boogeyman with their finger on the nuclear button.

Obviously I don't think Trump should have any relationship with them so in that aspect I do fault Trump. It's just I'm not sure how the left can complain about it is all.
