Could be. I don't think any of the current governors that are also democrat and female have enough star power for them though. We will see. I do not think they will run a centrist male. I believe they will run a woman or a minority at this point. The democrats have went so far to the left with the last administration, they almost have to so they can make it historic.

 

I also think that will be a mistake by the democrats. MANY people I know personally(I am friends with some local politicians and my small town is overwhelmingly union democrats) that have been life long democrats have been freaking out at how far to the left Obama has taken the party in just the last few years.

 

After they elected that Obama labor guy last night to head the party, many democrats I know(Not all) have been freaking out since last night because these people are so far to the left. Examples of how they have gone too far to the left that I see them talk about are the transgender bathroom deal, the democrats position on illegals and immigration overall, and how pro-life women are no longer welcome in the democratic party. I see many moderates that no longer feel welcomed in their own party, a party they have been a member of for decades in many cases. This morning, one of the big shots round here for the democrats locally said they need a revolution and they need it now, especially after last nights vote for that Perez guy.
