So if Comey keeps the investigation in to Russia open for 8 years Trump isn't allowed to fire him, no matter how incompetent he is or how many fock ups he commits? Seriously, 3 different people with knowledge of the investigation have said that there are no links between Trump and Russia. And the investigation is open about a year now. When does the President get to fire someone deserving of being fired? DId Comey being fired close the investigation? Otherwise, why does it matter? Comey was a manager. He wouldn't have been the one doing the investigating anyways.

Just my 2 cents here, but I don't think the Trump will ever get impeached. I don't think the powers that be, and by that, I mean Goldman Sachs, would ever let it get that far.

 

But no president has been in such turmoil so early in his office. He's barely passed a hundred days and he's already hired a law firm to defend him. Everyday a new shoe drops and it gets worse not better.

 

Trump's already secured enough personal and business favors that nobody's going to cry for him if he decides to leave office for the good of the country.

 

A deal will be made, Trump's cronies will already B infested in the White House , and Trump will walk away with 40% of the country thinking he's some kind of national martyr.

 

And you can see Trump relishing that kind of role. That way, he won't actually B held responsible for anything, and he can talk about what might have been while his supporters Take It All In.

 

Pence, warts and all, will be seen as a national savior. The sane one coming in to restore order and dignity to the office. So he'll get one hell of a pass just for not being Trump.
