Wasnt he recently on record warning people that a huge drop in price was imminent?

:dunno:

It hit above $400USD briefly about a week ago, and now it's just above $300...is that huge? Do you have a link to the statement?

Notice I asked a question. I did this because someone told me and I came here to ask if it was true (yes rather than looking it up. I already had fftoday forums open on my phone)

Could actually be a good thing from what I'm now reading.

Wasn't any attempt to be negative as I'm actively looking for a nice entry point to buy LTC

Thanks for that.

Well, I gotta believe that the drop from highs to a support level of around $300 has this reaction already baked in. I can see a bouncing in a range happening now on a lot of these.

Current prices are so inflated on hype and bandwagoning it's laughable. Was an article on yahoo that some iced tea company changed their name to include blockchain, promised to try and partner with blockchain technology companies and their stock price soared. :D

Long Island iced tea I think changed name to Long blockchain

It's crazy. It's why I backed off the alts into Bitcoin and ETH. The bubble is going to EXPLODE, and when it does, there will be some people really .

blood bath. BTC down 6k from all time highs in less than 5 days

i'd like to say good buying opportunity but with so little trade history on these things, thats really tough to tell.

good news is LTC is below where i wanted to buy... bad news is its way below so not sure if i should wait and see if it dips below 200

Buy more!

Timing is everything. Im wondering if well see a bigger drop over the weekend.

You see, its all about timing. Heres why.

Okay, crypto prices have been dropping all morning, which means that everybody is waiting for it to hit rock bottom, so they can buy low. Which means that the people who own the cryptos are saying, "Hey, we're losing all our damn money, and Christmas is around the corner, and I ain't gonna have no money to buy my son the G.I. Joe with the kung-fu grip! And my wife ain't gonna f... my wife ain't gonna make love to me if I got no money!" So they're panicking right now, they're screaming "SELL! SELL!" to get out before the price keeps dropping. They're panicking out there right now, I can feel it.

BTW: new info, for those thinking about using Coinbase's own vault for your CCs: don't. They don't like to release it without a 48 hour waiting period.

Pretty healthy insta-bounce. I wonder if some bigger buyers had buy floors set @ BTC 10,500, ETH 500 and LTC 150

eth hit 465 before the bounce

Yeah, I didn't check. Im assuming there are a whole lot of orders triggered at certain points. Smart money which sold @ top now auto buying back in.

It's really odd how everything is acting in unison almost

That part doesn't surprise me so much. It's like a 'sector' which gets hurt as a sector, but magnified because it's new. Most investors in this space believe in the potential of this, but don't know enough about the innards of the technology to know which ones will succeed, and which won't. Lots of guessing, so - for a while at least - I can see us all moving like a school of fish.

Long term separation will happen, but it will be driven by press releases announcing innovations and partnerships. I've subscribed to the Twitter feeds of people central to the movement to stay on top of this.

See if I had the time to sit in front of the charts all day I would have bought LTC in the 160s or 170s. I figured it would go sub 200. I'll still probably wait and see for a bit.

So obvious they just don't want people buying the lows

This is what really pissed me off last time and pretty much why I sold it off after I broke even and maybe made a few hundred. They stop allowing trades when the price dipped.. you wanna talk about some rigged sh!t?

I am losing good feelings about Coinbase. I know they're struggling with demand - I can understand that - but when I want to move cryptos from their vaults to my wallets and they cannot do that instantly, I get irritated (particularly since they did not provide any information that such a delay would take place when I first deposited CCs into the vaults).

I would have played this correction had I been able to, and this prevented me from doing that.

Another glitch: I requested moving about half my CCs from vault to wallet, and then after the experience decided I do not want to use their vault at all...the problem is that I'm not allowed to pull the remaining half from the vaults to the wallet to transfer anywhere else until the first transfer request completes. WTF.

Lesson learned. Leave Coinbase.

People not invested keeping us informed, thanks fellas. Looks like I missed a buying opportunity, sucks, traveling for the holidays.

This sector is extremely volatile, that has been painfully obvious from the beginning. Not sure how this is news to y'all. People would have been insane not to take profits. The race up was epic, sorry y'all missed out.

Old news. Look back several pages. I, as well as others, sniffed that "little" gem out already.
