snatchit 108 Posted November 18, 2017 I thought I was looking pretty good this week. Jeffery is the one that really sux being a Sunday night game.
snatchit 108 Posted November 18, 2017 Amazing match ups... if one doesnt go I am stuck with Inman or Westrook
TennisMenace 156 Posted November 18, 2017 Yeah, this Sterling Shepard illness, probably the flu, has spooked me too. I guess I would have to go Richardson v. Falcons or Inman v. Lions (Darius slay) so both don’t look appealing. Ouch. I hope he recovers quickly, but the bad news is he may be weakened and more than likely, not 100%. TennisMenace 156 Posted November 18, 2017 Shepherd This is the Giants LB who is also injured. But so is Shepard, the wide receiver.
weepaws 2,516 Posted November 18, 2017 Keep,Shepherd in the lineup.
Lamb of God 14 Posted November 18, 2017 If sterling is a go I'm keeping him in there. I have no better options than a less than 100% shepherd in a primo matchup.
mark32esu 18 Posted November 19, 2017 Start him over Thielen?
Lamb of God 14 Posted November 19, 2017 Start him over Thielen? I'd start theilen over shepherd anyway anyway of the week
TennisMenace 156 Posted November 19, 2017 I’m reading tweets that Shepard is PROBABLY out for tomorrow but they want to test something before gametime, whatever that is. This is not good for me. Now I have to cut someone I don’t want to cut in order to pick up some useless replacement.
Mike FF Today 611 Posted November 19, 2017 From Adam Schefter... Giants WR Sterling Shepard, added to teams injury report Saturday with illness, is unlikely to play vs Chiefs, per source. But team wants to first test him in pre-game warmups before making any determination.
weepaws 2,516 Posted November 19, 2017 Darn it anyway. He must have had fish. Tough break for my team.
huskyhater75 242 Posted November 19, 2017 Probably out? Great, now I gotta decide between hobbled Julio/Dez to go along with Cooks-and I don't trust Cooks AT ALL, but he's healthy.........knock on wood.
Texas10 15 Posted November 19, 2017 Just not my year, was banking on Shepard this week in a must win, a bum will be taking his spot..
weepaws 2,516 Posted November 19, 2017 Same boat, I needed big time this week playing the number one team in my 14 teamer. I'm number two. He has Brown. Great. Oh the joys of ff.
Lamb of God 14 Posted November 19, 2017 Just not my year, was banking on Shepard this week in a must win, a bum will be taking his spot.. This is my situation exactly, counting on this guy to put up numbers in a primo matchup in a game I need badly and now let's see dion Lewis fills his flex spot. Fml. Texas10 15 Posted November 19, 2017 Yea I'm stuck having to decide between Mixon and Dede, both have a very low floor... Just saw his illness is migraines? Interesting.
TennisMenace 156 Posted November 19, 2017 Migraine........ I didn’t realize that was that crippling....I figured a pill would do it......

DC 9 Posted November 19, 2017 Migraine........ I didn’t realize that was that crippling....I figured a pill would do it...... I'm a former Cluster-Headache sufferer. There is nothing more disabling and agonizing. Completely renders you dysfunctional until it passes. Migranes are almost as severe and come damned close to rendering the sufferer useless. For me, pain killers, no matter the strength, did nothing unless I took one at the very inception of the episode. The best treatment that almost always worked was oxygen (again if you put the mask on early on in the episode). Most times, using the oxygen tank just melted away the cluster headache. My wife would tell me that she could see the change in my facial muscles and eyes while I had the oxygen mask on. I still keep a charged oxygen tank in our closet today.
SpenceToons 70 Posted November 19, 2017 My opponent has Shepard in his starting lineup and I'm still sweating this because there's still that pregame warmup test to be performed yet and the fudge factor tendency on those tests always sems to be for the player to give a thumbs up no matter how shaky he may be. huskyhater75 242 Posted November 19, 2017 Kareem Abdul Jabbar suffered throughout his younger career from migraines. Seemed like (can't remember that long ago) it either went away with age or maybe press just publicized it less as he got older.
brotherbock 349 Posted November 19, 2017 Percy Harvin had them too, iirc. They come in varying degrees, but the bad ones are very bad. He might not even be able to see straight, literally. Run his route at a 90 degree angle, if he could even force his eyes open in the light.

jrokh 571 Posted November 19, 2017 No shepherd and at least the first half of this game will be played in high winds, a lot of variables for fantasy.

Johnny B. Goode 17 Posted November 19, 2017 No shepherd and at least the first half of this game will be played in high winds, a lot of variables for fantasy. Yeah Shepard out with the migraines. I plugged Paul Richardson in on Monday night.
LaChup 158 Posted November 19, 2017 Migraine........ I didn’t realize that was that crippling....I figured a pill would do it...... Ask Percy Harvin. He missed his whole career and sat out his sit outs.
brotherbock 349 Posted November 19, 2017 Hope Hunt runs wild with a good positive game script. And Eli Apple is out with a personal issue too (sick mom, sucks). So their better CB is out. Chiefs looking even better.
