weepaws 2,461 Posted January 9, 2018 Believe me, I get it. However, this is not about 20 ppg. 24.14 41.72 45.54 29.30 40.78 These are Watson's fantasy points in his last 5 games, before injury. That's 36.3 FF ppg. That's weekly game-winning production. And these weren't pushover teams...NE, Tenn, Seattle, etc. I have no huge concerns about facing the McCoy/Kelce/Julio owner on any given week. I can match up. However, Watson is a guy I don't want to be playing against. So, therefore, I want him on my squad. (and I PRAY that drafters still feel as you and others next year!) I know someone will draft him early. And that's a good thing for everyone else. Teams will see his game films and adjust too his game. He won't avg over 30 points per game next season. So too draft him in the first four or even five rounds is just silly ff talk. But hey like you posted, we both know only one person will draft him that early in every league, and that will be one more team I won't have too worry about. Good luck. Watson in the first 4 or 5 rounds is silly talk, eh? You're deluded, Weeps. Actually, that's one team that you better hope you only have to play once, because they will likely beat you like a step-child when you meet.

Don't throw away a top five pick on any QB. Never ever. No. There is clearly enough too go around. Watson 2:7 and before Mccaffery is horrible.

Brutal Brutus 182 Posted January 10, 2018 After Hopkins and Brown the receivers are all kinda meh to me. Consistent top end production is almost non existent, making me want to wait till the mid rounds on WR and grab top TE and RBs early. Gronk
scottsind 61 Posted January 10, 2018 If McCaffery is at 2.09 then AJ Green again for me at 2.10. He isn't exactly consistent in the sense of every game production, but is consistently at the top of the league in targets (142), a safe bet for a 1,000 yard season, and is the TD machine in the Bengals offense. As is the case with many players, an upgrade in the offensive line could help him dramatically ascend to a top 3 WR type of season. Seems like good upside at the end of the 2nd round. Hawkeye21 1,855 Posted January 11, 2018 Am I taking crazy pills? Watson being the first QB taken when he hasn't even played a full season yet! He's not even the best QB let alone worth a second round pick. I don't see how anyone could take him ahead of a RB like Jordan Howard who proved everyone wrong this year and should be even better with a more offensive minded coach. There are so many QBs that can be had at any point in a draft that it just seems like a waste of a pick taking one in the first couple rounds, especially an unproven one. The hype is amazing right now.

The hype is amazing right now. Agreed, I understand the hype and he is getting the type of hype that Michael Vick was getting after his extremely impressive fantasy year. I was young and dumb and drafted Vick in the first round and of course he was injured early in the season. Not to say Watson will get injured again, I just think it is too risky of a pick to make in the 2nd round. I'll take Watson if he is there as an upside play in the 4th round, but don't imagine taking a QB until at least the 5th.

seafoam1 1,879 Posted January 16, 2018 No Odell...interesting. Lit of unknown for Giants. Looks like he went #10. But I'm sure it will all depend on how he looks in training camp. As a rookie he missed 4 games with a hamstring injury. Then another in the following year. Then he hurt his ankle twice in preseason last year, then of course missing 12 games because of needing surgury on the same ankle. I believe he is playing his last year of the rookie contract in 2018 and he came out and said last June that he wants to be the highest paid player in all of football (not just receivers). So he knows what's on the line for his personal desires. Should be an interesting watch.
