One more note on KISS. One thing that helped drive their popularity was their music was simple. Every high school garage band could and did play KISS songs.

This artist wrote a whole bunch of great songs, but not this one.

He did take this tune from the 40s and make it a smash hit in the 70s. It was is 1st #1, but it wouldnt be his last.

Interestingly, this song has actually already appeared here in the lyrics from a previously drafted song.
