ZeroTolerance 584 Posted February 6, 2018 Meh, one of the instances where a band's best song and it's most well known song don't intersect at all.
jerryskids 6,800 Posted February 6, 2018 I've got 5 songs I want to pick at this turn. This is like a poker game, man this is tough, but fun. Tool >>>>>>>>>>>>> your bands to date. The late 90s are a bit of a blur; my son was born in 96 so I was listening to Barney and similar shiot, plus I had started a new career at that time. I totally missed the Tool wagon. But in the past year or so I've been introduced to them, largely because the trainer at our gym loves Tool and whatever Pandora station he plays seems to always call this song up during the workout. IMO there are two Tool songs from the decade that absolutely need to be represented here, and this is my favorite, in fact my favorite song right now. 3.16 Forty Six and 2 - Tool They are on the Mount Rushmore for me of opening riffs to suck you in. Plus I recently posted a video of an (I think underage, sorry) girl playing drums on this.

ZeroTolerance 584 Posted February 6, 2018 Seems like a good song to me A good song for sure, but definitely not their best (was less a knock on the pick and more of a comment on the surprise that it somehow wasn't picked yet).
mobb_deep 920 Posted February 6, 2018 Seen Tool live a dozen times. Hard to pick one song, especially from Aenema. The entire album is a masterpiece. Theres one tune on that album I like more, but cant fault anyone for picking 46 and 2. Good pick Jerry.

vuduchile 1,945 Posted February 6, 2018 I went thru a phase when I was a kid where all I was sure Id grow up to be a cowboy. A part of me still thinks I could shoot, ride, rope and sleep under the stars.Bon Jovi sings about a much different type of cowboy on Dead or Alive, but I still love it. And I love this one too.3.17 Cowboy Kid Rock VIDEO IS VERY NSFW

jerryskids 6,800 Posted February 6, 2018 I'm really kind of in a tug of war to pick songs that I think are great songs and picking songs for the draft That's part of the challenge. For me, the 70s were so deep that I spent the first half of the draft picking good/popular-ish songs I enjoyed, then went to more guilty pleasures. In this draft I'm moving opposite, moving towards guilty pleasures early then songs which are more mainstream which I enjoy. No right or wrong answer. ZeroTolerance 584 Posted February 6, 2018 I'm really kind of in a tug of war to pick songs that I think are great songs and picking songs for the draft I'm going great songs from the bands that I have a shorter set of songs from, then the last 8 of so picks will be hitting the less well known tracks from my favorite bands. Hopefully geeks will leave the day with a few songs they didn't know about or had glossed over back in the day.
RaiderHaters Revenge 4,353 Posted February 6, 2018 I am worried about Sux, jumping in on my next pick maybe, otherwise, I am going to venture less than half of this draft knows it, but I gotta have it

Hopefully geeks will leave the day with a few songs they didn't know about or had glossed over back in the day. I'm kinda leaning that way sortta.... I'm picking bands I like and popular songs bit not my favs or what I think are the best.. round 10 to 15 are going to probably be not known at all

Voltaire 5,317 Posted February 7, 2018 I am worried about Sux, jumping in on my next pick maybe, otherwise, I am going to venture less than half of this draft knows it, but I gotta have it SUX, more than any other drafter, has that qulaity about him doesn't he?
