There are a couple of films in this draft that accurately depict that gritty, seedy side of 60s-70s NYC before it was cleaned up. This is one of them.

When this happened earlier with HT, I didn't say anything. It was easily solved by bouncing A Few Good Men to Drama rather than 90s where he wanted to put it. I just kinda did that quietly, I don't know that anybody, maybe not even HT himself, noticed.

 

This situation with you is a bit trickier but it can be done with a little bit of a dance.

 

Midnight Cowboy can't be moved to Drama since Drama has Chinatown and 70s are full. The same with The Hustler, also a drama. True Grit though can.

 

What I did, and I hope you are OK with it, is move Raiders of the Lost Arc out of Adventure into 80s. Then, I moved True Grit out of 60s into Adventure. Thus freeing up True Grit's spot in 60s for Midnight Cowboy.

 

So now that I think on it more, I can't say that I felt very comfortable doing that, moving around your first rounder and all without your consent. I was looking for a way to make it all work. if you don't like that shuffle, maybe a re-pick is in order and I'll reverse it.
