They must change. Trumps grandfather, Frederick, didn't speak English when he came here in 1885. Nor did Melania when she came here. Neither would have been allowed in under the new merit-based rules.

That will be a tougher one to change than slavery. Changes against bigotry and racism are more acceptable than one which promote it.

So, in your simple analysis, you're going to compare a time when we actually needed mass immigration for our manufacturing and agriculture, and to expand beyond the Mississippi to the situation today. The west has been won and we don't have much manufacturing thanks to Bill Clinton and Wall Street. Nafta anyone? You know, the deal that was supposed to limit immigration. Biden was a big nafta guy too. And loves his pals on Wall Street and the banks.

Only retards are against a merit based system. I don’t think it’s strict enough. If you can’t speak English and don’t have a bachelor degree in your home country you aren’t welcomed here.

Nafta sucked, was passed by a Republican Congress, and those jobs, for the most part, were going away anyhow.

Well done.  You deflected on Trump's (and his sheep) hypocrisy on immigration and, at the same time, managed to also slam the Clintons, who you're obsessed with almost as much as with me, and Biden, who you fear because he's curbstomping Trump in all polls.  I'll give you a 8/10.

We have a 230+ year history of 'retards' who don't believe in a discriminatory immigration system.

It wasn’t retarded when we were a growing nation like HT said. Doors are closed now, immigrants bring America down now. I’m a sure merit based immigration system will fix that though or at least curb it.

Also its a bit different taking Europeans who speak another language other than English but still have very similar cultures vs taking Abubbi from sh!thole Middle East. Our founding fathers wouldn’t want anything to focking do with Islam and you can bet on that.

Yup. Republicans can take a bow on Nafta too. Trump, on the other hand....

Well, the three biggest domestic legacy policies of the Clinton presidency were Nafta (disaster) repeal of most of the glass steagal act (disaster) and his crime bill ( resounding success). Unfortunately, woketards are undoing that. So yeah, I'm critical of Clinton being in cahoots with the republicans on the first two. They kind of had a huge affect. For the worse. George Bush the smarter refused to pass that legislation

You are100% clueless. You should read up on immigration before you spread more lies.

From the Wikipedia entry on the Immigration Act of 1790:

The original United States Naturalization Law of March 26, 1790 (1 Stat. 103) provided the first rules to be followed by the United States in the granting of national citizenship. This law limited naturalization to immigrants who were free White persons of good character.

I'd say that's fairly discriminatory.

Those jobs might have gone away, but the tariffs on those goods coming back in would have remained in place without Nafta. So, not all of those jobs would have went away.

Great news.  Thanks for posting. That's a lot of unwanted kids that will never find their way into the criminal system and be reliant on welfare/food stamps.  Will more than pay for itself.

The 2 people who made the unwanted child.  Do they bore any responsibility?  Any way they can be deterred from creating more unwanted children? I’m asking, you have all the right answers.  Can’t wait for your stance, it’s important to me.  TIA

Of course. If they don't want a baby, they should be doing everthing they can to prevent a pregnancy. But condoms break.Things happen. I'm anti-abortion. Hate the thought of them. Using them as a form of birth control is disgusting. But I'm not into taking a woman's right away if a mistake happens. Like I said, no one needs more unwanted children in the world from families that either can't emotionally or financially pay for them.

Unlimited times mom can use “the condom broke” excuse or rip out vagina after 2nd accident?  Where do you fall?

By the 3rd or 4th time the woman will have proved herself irresponsible enough to handle being a mom.

I'm not sure how much more I can stress that I'm against abortions. I think any question you have regarding my stance is answered in my last post.

Women don't take birth control pills because they gain weight.

Broken condoms huh? So that is where all the abortion numbers are coming from? Okay. Another stance by you that fails the test of sanity.

People who don’t want kids but are too irresponsible to use birth control should be forced to raise kids they don’t want as punishment.

Thatll learn em.

Ok. So let's go with your "logic". If we want to kill babies so they don't end up on welfare, or have to have their housing paid for, or those we have to deal with the costs of their incarceration and caseworkers later, then why don't we take a first step, and kill all the people on welfare, or those that need housing support, and those that are in prison as well as those that have caseworkers?

Why don't we do that first, then give the newborns a chance to prove themselves in life?

So all the baby killers don't want to approach this logic? If you want to kill the kids so they don't turn out bad, why not just kill those who did turn out bad and give those kids a chance to prove themselves in life?

NYC to become first city to directly fund abortions

New York City could become the first city to set aside funds strictly for abortion, according to a councilmember who called the move a "beacon for the rest of the country."

Mayor Bill de Blasio and City Council Speaker Corey Johnson, both Democrats, announced a budget agreement Friday, set to be voted on this week, that would allocate $250,000 to the New York Abortion Access Fund, which called it "extremely good news" amid other states passing anti-abortion laws.

I'm ok with this.  This is a state's rights issue.  If you want to live is garbage state that allows/pushes for this, then you should absolutely live there.  If NJ follows suit, I'll move.  The sad thing is, it's these kinds of things that will end up segregating the country.  Issues like this will either force people to move to states that support their beliefs or will cause mass chaos.  Of the two, I'll hope for the former.

I don't completely disagree with you on this.  For me, the part I don't like is the government paying for it with tax dollars.  The responsibility for payment should fall to those who want the abortion.

I agree with you in principle, but I think a large percentage of abortions are received by lower income women.  If they were having unwanted babies simply because they couldn't afford an abortion, it will cost taxpayers more in food stamps, welfare, etc than the abortion would have. And that's not even counting possible juvenile detention, prison costs, which unwanted low income neighborhood kids are more likely to end up in.

How much do you want to bet that 80% or more have $750 iPhone's and $1500 annual cell phone plans?  The ONLY reason that these dumbazz socialists like Bernie and Alexandria have a platform is because people want to live outside of their means.  If you make $25k per year, you can survive without a cell phone.
