again...Perfectly healthy girl sees herself as fat and loses far too much weight.  She's immediately diagnosed as someone with a body image problem and is told to get therapy.   Her friends and family and doctors all agree she needs help.

If that same girl instead says she's a boy, everyone says she DOESN'T have a body image problem and support her changing her gender.

It makes no sense whatsoever.  None.   Any person that thinks he or she is a different gender than what they were born with needs mental counseling and help  Period.
