I'm pretty sure if someone ran on old school.values of honesty, doing the right thing, family values, they would do well, regardless of the letter next to their name.  Most politicians are sh1tty people, and since we blindly support the ones with the right letter, there is no incentive for them to be better.

I don't think so.  The boring old doesn't move the needle guy who believes in strong families....just doesn't work today.  You either need to be black, a woman, or a celebrity like Trump who gets people to go vote.  It isn't about your platform at all these days.  It is what terrible things you can make people believe about the other side.  

Yes all politicians generally suck as people and are out of tune with Joe Public.  But yes I will blindly vote R because the policies and direction of America line up way better with my views than screetching Liberal agendas.  I can be some what moderate on my views.   But the progressives have the Dems by the balls.  And we effortlessly move further left anyway as time goes on.  So I will hold onto the R for no other reason than to slow down this disgusting progressive shift.

I'm trying to explain to you it's not that simple, but you just don't get it.  I'm not good with sex change operations for minors, but there are always exceptions that you and I wouldn't understand.  What about a case where a 17 year old girl who is suicidal and pleads to have her breasts removed.  Parents plead for this to happen, doctors are saying it's for the best, who the fock are you to tell her she can't have this surgery?
