I started watching a Mexican movie named "Atroz" yesterday.  I had to turn it off after about 15 minutes as I was eating lunch and there was a brutal torture scene that also involved sh1t. 🤮

I heard that one was really rough. No thanks.

I liked it and yes she was. Ever see the original Black Christmas? Really good movie and MK is in that too.

LOL at the phone number that MK told the cop of the sorority house:  Fellatio-20880.  FE, is a new exchange...  And the cop: "How do you spell it?"

So I read some clickbait article about "disturbing" movies.  The usual suspects were listed.  One I hadn't heard about was a Greek movie named "Dogtooth".

I watched it today, and while it definitely wasn't horror it was definitely weird.  Basically parents raise kids completely cut off from the world.  Kind of like extreme homeschooling.  Slow movie and damn near p0rn in some places.

Guess it actually got an Oscar nom for best foreign film. :dunno:

Oddly enough it's streaming for free on Kadoodle.  Had to sign up for a library card (online) at local library to watch.

You have to at least see eps2.

I don't like the narration telling the story too much, but, a gruesome death of each character each episode.  Then again they did kill my two favorite characters first.

Just finished E2.  Nice touch seeing that character die while listening to remix of NIN "Closer"

I also liked the easter egg of the "Hush" mask worn by the friend of Prospero.  I noticed it because I always thought it looked like Dennis from Always Sunny.

Wife and I are enjoying Fall of the House of Usher so far.  Just finished E4.

I love EAP stories so I appreciate how each episode is based on a different story.

For the "Murders in the Rue Mourge" episode the gal was killed by a primate.  Not an orangutan but close enough.

For the "Black Cat" I told my wife he would eventually cut out the cat's eye.  I think in the story the main character was an alcoholic, but for this show a druggie works.

For the black chick I'm already calling it for "A Telltale Heart".

Was reading an article on reddit and they mention the Korean horror movie, "The Wailing"...

Has anyone seen it?  Off the chart numbers at RT...

Yes. Wasn’t really scary and it’s very long but it was good.

How about "A Bay of Blood" from 1971?

Anyone?

Early proto slasher movie by Mario Bava. I saw it once on a crap VHS copy years ago and don’t remember it much. Blood and Black Lace by the same director was really good. Not really Corey but very stylish movies.

This show "The 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments of All-Time" is giving me some good ideas...

Rewatched Drag Me to Hell the other day. It’s on Amazon prime.

Still pretty good 20 years later (seems like yesterday… damn I’m old :( )

Cobweb on Hulu was pretty good.  Interesting take on a whack job family story.

Not more gore for those of us who don't love tons of gore.

3 / 5

Watched hell house LLC last night, not bad but I'm not huge on found footage mockumentary.

Trick r treat tonight, always a good time.

Tried gingersnaps also but gave up After 20 mins, more a teen movie.

Just finished watching "Saw X" online...

https://www6.f2movies.to/movie/saw-x-100852

Damn good film...  It is the longest of the ten movies and has the best rating at RT of the ten at 79%...

Sh1tty weather so went to the matinée over the weekend.  Two thumbs up, but have some criticisms.  Main one I didn't like the setup for the last test without going into spoiler details.  There were too many ways it couldn't have worked out that made it seem like luck that it did.  Soccer kid wasn't necessary.

Great horror movie though.  The first two tests were awesome.  Including the imaginary one that gave you a look into Jigsaw's mind and allowed the movie to stand on it's own a bit if you'd never watched a saw before.

In My Mother's Skin I wouldn't rank too high but was worth the watch.  Subtitled and off the wall in the Chinese horror fashion.

I agree...  It was actually good that there was a story and a lot of conversation, kind of change-up from the other Saw movies...  It had the gore, but having the story line was nice...

Loved the story.  It actually happens and you wish death on those types - very audience relatable.

Finished up The Mill on Hulu.  Definitely not horror, more kind of suspense, but an interesting movie.

Thanks for the heads up.

Watched it the other day with my son and future daughter-in-law.  Not bad.

Reminds me of other "WTF IS GOING ON?" movies like the "Cube" series and "Circle".

Just started watching.  Beginning makes it look well put together as far as found footage flicks go.

Good movie for Halloween season since it's about haunted house attractions.

I’m 3/4 of the way through Smile, right now. It’s just ok. Something about Sosie Bacon rubs me the wrong way. Also, is the black guy from The Boys ever not an a$$hole?
