“You believed the evidence when they said the injecteds couldn't catch or spread the coof” - No, even the initial trials said it was 95% effective, so it was always possible to get it, people who said that were wrong and I said that when they did.

No no no no no.   When the vaccines came out, we were told over and over these were 95% effective in preventing you from catching it.(J&J was like 72%)  THAT was what was told.  THEN it turned into, well they vaccines will make covid less severe.   I'm not on either side of this vax argument.  I got the first two, never got a booster.  But this was initially wrong-100% wrong.  And don't try to change history.  It was just wrong.  Bad science or whatever, but we were told it was effective in PREVENTING covid initially, not making it less severe.

No it was not.   Based on many real-world studies, the first 2 doses WERE ~90-95% effective at preventing symptomatic infection prior to Delta.  With Delta, they were still ~60-80% effective at preventing symptomatic infection.   It wasn’t until Omicron (and it being ~6 months since most people’s 2nd dose) that effectiveness against infection was minimal.

A bunch of gay dudes getting Covid at an orgy isn’t proof that it never worked against infection.

Most people understand that as viruses mutate vaccines can lose effectiveness.
